Chapter 2 Newcomers

Hiccup's POV

So I wake up to the sound of a horn in the distance luckily it wasn't the horn for war because I don't think I'm ready to lead Berk to victory just yet.

Well anyway I quickly got dressed and head downstairs to see Toothless waiting for me with a hungry look on his face.

Morning bud"I said before he replies with a coo saying that he was hungry.

I know bud your hungry but we still have to find out what's all the commotion out there that we had to wake us up this early"I said before I pushed him to the door.

He gave out a coo that sounded like he agreed. So just like that we were off to the Town Square where we found everyone gathering around Gobber who was saying that he spotted a couple of ships about 30 mins of our coast.

He also specifies that the crest of the ship was the crest of the Antioch Tribe which is located on an island really far away from Berk. Which means they must have an important reason for coming here for traveling this far.

So me and Toothless flew to the docks immediately all after hearing this.

When I arrived I met up with my mom, my girlfriend and the rest of the gang who were standing and watch over the coastline to see a horde of ships on the horizon.

What took you so long?"asks Astrid before punching me in the arm.

You know how much I like to be fashionably late"I reply in defense as I was rubbing the sore spot she had just punched.

Astrid's POV

So I was here at the docks with Hiccup's mom and the rest of the gang (Including Eret)watching over the coastline because we can see the horde of ships on the horizon until Hiccup finally arrives and I greet him by punching him in the arm as usual.

What took you so long?"I ask before punching him in the arm which made him groan in pain.

You know how much I like to be fashionably late"he replies in defense as he was rubbing the sore spot I had just punched.

That's for being late and this is for always coming up with cute excuses that always seems to convince me"I say before kissing him on the lips which made both of us really red and he giving me a really goofy smile while I was staring at his emerald green eyes which made me melt every time. We were both like (#^__^#)

Anything for you m'lady"he says before I punch him again even harder and then he groans even louder.

What was that for don't you think one punch is enough for one morning"he exclaims while rubbing his arm again because of the punch I just gave him.

Your being cheesy again and by the way no I will punch you anytime I want to because you said you'd do anything for me"I say before he lets out a sigh of defeat in seeing how what he just said had just backfired a lot.

I was about to continue the conversation but we were interrupted by Hiccup's mom(Valka) Who told us all of the ships have stopped in their advance and only one is headed straight for the docks.

So we all waited there not letting our guard down in any instance because who knows what might happen they might actually be setting up an invasion to capture Berk for their own greedy purposes.

Hiccup's POV

So we all waited there for the ship to dock and when it did There was this man who stepped out that looked like my father but with dark hair.

Where is the chief of Berk?!?!"he shouts.

Right here"I say while pointing to myself.

No seriously where's Stoick the Vast?"he asks while trying to contain his laughter.
