You walked to the doors of Baldi's Basics in Education and Learning, slowly opening them. You tightened your backpack around your shoulders and stopped in an open room. In front of you stood a tall man with a green sweater vest and blue pants with brown shoes. He had two or three strands of hair on the top of his head, making him bald.

"Hello there!" He exclaimed, waving his hand with a goofy smile. "Welcome to Baldi's Basics in Education and Learning! That's meee!"

You smiled at him and put out your hand. He shook his with yours. "Just drop your bag at that door over there. Room 99. You may explore for a bit but be back here by 10:30. DON'T BE LATE."

His sudden change of mood shocked you and you nodded your head timidly. "Y-yes sir!"

You opened the blue door and placed your bag in a seat up front. You walked out, accidentally bumping into Mr. Baldi. "O-oh! Sorry sir! I wasn't payin-"

"Shush, child. It's alright. It was my fault I was in the way, I should have known it wouldn't take you long to drop your bag in the room. Y/N, is it?"

"Yes," you replied. "Y/N L/N"

He nodded with a small smile. His scarlet lips stuck out heavily as he spoke the next sentence. "Just remember, be back here exactly at 10:30! DO NOT BE LATE!"

You clutched your arms, hugging yourself. "Yes, sir."

You were walking down the halls, passing the 'detention room'. The principal was sitting at his desk and looked up from his book he was reading as you knocked on the door. He gestured politely for you to come in.

You opened the door and looked around in awe. He stood up, setting his book down with a bent page to remember his spot. He walked up to you.

"Why, hello there Y/N!" He exclaimed excitedly. "Enjoying walking the halls, I presume?"

You nodded. "Yes, sir. I know better than to run in the halls. It could be dangerous, depending if you run into someone, trip and fall, or you could-"

"Shush, child." The principal said, putting a finger to his lips. "Did you read the other rules?"

You shook your head no. He smiled with delight and clasped his hands together. "Well!" He said with a happy smile. "Let me tell you. There are no running in the halls, no entering faculty only rooms, no eating in the halls, no drinking in the halls, no breaking out of detention, and NO fourth wall breaks."

Fourth wall breaks? What?

He placed a hand on your shoulder and smiled down at you. You felt your face start to get warm and you knew there was a tint of pink showing on your cheeks.

"I hope you're watching the time! It's 10:29," he said, tapping his watch on his wrist.

"10:29?! Mr. Principal, please let me run to Mr. Baldi's! I'm going to be late!" You exclaimed with fear.

"He will understand. WALK in the halls! Or, you'll be sent in detention!"

You nodded, not saying anything. You turned to walk out and down the halls. The bell rang as it hit 10:30 on the clock. You walked in room 99 to see a couple of students in their desks.

You could see a girl with messy, black hair with... black eyes? You could also see a a boy on the chubby side glaring at you with a smile. Then you could see a small boy who had black hair.

You looked at Mr. Baldi standing behind his desk with a frown. He walked over to you and placed a hand on your back. "Come with me, Y/N." He growled softly.

You followed him out in the halls. He pushed you against the wall and, out of nowhere, placed a yellow ruler under your chin. It made you look up at his unsettling brown eyes.

"I specifically told you NOT TO BE LATE!" As he said this, the ruler slapped you across the cheek. You placed a hand on your cheek and winced in pain.

"M-mr. Baldi! I was only a few seconds late! I promise I won't do it again! Please, don't hurt me!" You begged, feeling a small amount of blood touch the palm of your hand. God damn, he is a strong man.

"Good. Be late again, and I will punish you harder. Get in that room, turn to page 10 in your math book and begin! NOW!"

You gasped and rushed in his room, quickly sitting down and turning the page and began to work. He walked in with the ruler behind his back. The little girl and small boy were chatting and he slapped his ruler harshly against his wooden desk.

Everyone got quiet with surprise as he yelled. "GET BACK TO WORK!"
