Day 2/60

Laurens

Hamilton shakes my shoulder to wake me up. "Wake up, lovely small boyo."

"Nooo," I mumble and bury my face in my pillow.

"C'mon Laurens, I let you sleep in as much as I can."

"But Hammy! I need sleep! Without sleep I die!" I say, my voice higher than I want it to be. Hahaha guess what I'll be dysphoric about all day now.

"Well, it's a good thing you got sleep then. Now get up. I will set the Laf on you."

I whine and bury my face further into the pillow.

"Everyone give it up for America's favorite fighting Frenchman!" Hamilton yells.

I hear the bathroom door open, some crashing sounds and finally, "Who isn't getting up?"

"Laurens. He refuses to get up."

"Aww, he looks so cute like that with his hair all messy and all over the place. Do I have to make him get up?"

"Yes ma'am!"

I hear her sigh. "Fine. Laurens, can I touch you?"

I nod into my pillow.

"Good." She wraps her arms around me and flips me over, I still have the pillow covering my face though. She then picks me up bridal style and carries me a few feet away before dropping me.

"Gah! Fine! I'm up," I say while Hercules and Hamilton laugh, Laf goes back to the bathroom.

"I told you I'd set Laf on you," Hamilton says taking off their shirt from yesterday.

"I am the gay. Dhiakucshjs," I say watching them. They wink at me and pull on a new shirt while my face turns red.

"Aren't you asexual?" Herc asks.

"Kinda? I usually say asexual because it's easier but it fluctuates."

He nods in understanding.

I stand up and change quickly by my bed, since Laf is still in the bathroom.

There's a crash and an angry yell in French. The other two look at each other, both worried.

"Is she okay?" I ask, worried.

Hercules jumps down from his bed and goes over to the bathroom door.

"She just sometimes, um... Dysphoria. A lot of it. Mostly when she identifies as a girl. Always talks about how it would be easier if her gender stayed consistent because then it would probably just be constant dysphoria that she can tune out instead of just a sudden wave of it whenever she's a she."

Herc knocks on the door. "Lafayette, mon amour, please, let me in."

"Non, leave me alone. I just have to finish getting ready. I'm sorry."

She sniffles and Herc knocks again with more urgency. "Please, let me help you."

"Hercules, go away!"

He steps back in surprise. "Okay, Laf." He turns to Hamilton and I, a sad look on his face. "I'm going to breakfast then."

I nod as Ham says, "I'll go with you."
