The cats lead Maria outside to the backyard. Then they stand on top of the cellar doors. "Alright, you want me to go into the cellar. Don't tell me there's another body down there," she said with a giggle and a laugh, which she meant as a joke.
But as she enters the cellar the smell of rotten flesh hit her nose hard. "Holy crap, I was just kidding about another body, but as I smell, there must be one down here," she muttered as she followed the smell. She stopped right in front of the storage closet. "Shit, I really don't want to see what's behind this door," she whispered When Silver and Button leaped over hitting the doorknob causing the door to open.
"Oh, my goodness. What have you cats done? The cats all stop and looked at her meowing at the same time. "Now I must call the police. Listen up, all of you hind. I'm calling the police, for far as I know someone else did this not my cats. So do stay out of sight." Maria said as she calls the police to report the three dead bodies she had just found inside her house.
The police finally showed up. As they remove the bodies out of the house. "Mrs. Maria I do believe these men were robbing your house. There must have been four of them and one got greedy killed the others leaving them behind. Thank goodness you didn't arrive while this was going on." explained the Police Officer Mr. Tom noticed the patrol cars in front of Maria's house. He quickly heading across the street.
"Mrs. Maria is everything alright?" he asked as he approached her. "Not really I found three men dead in two of my closet. while I was gone did you see anything try to break into my house?" she asked worriedly. "No, madam I kept a close watch and no one came in or out of your house, but me of course.
"Someone stopped the robbers from taking off with my things. Whoever it was I will like to thank them for keeping my house safe from robbers." she said "Well, maybe your cats protected your house." replied Mr. Tom "You think so? They are pretty smart." she replied
Once the police took the bodies away, Mr. Tom and Maria sat down for a cup of tea. With all of her wonderful cats surrounding them. "My beautiful cats, if you are responsible for catching the thieves, thank you, I must give you plenty of treats," she said with a big smile The cats quickly all run towards the cabinet where Maria kept the cat treats. "Holy crap they knew what you were asking them." said Mr. Tom "There are all good cats. My, protectors, here you may have all the treat you want." she said as she feeds them treats.
Mr. Tom looked at her and smile. The two never told anyone what happened. Later on, they found out the three-men were her neighbors. No further investigation was made and in time the neighborhood people forget what had happened inside of Maria's House.
