Roshan's POV:

I felt like I was on the top of the world when zoya sat with me in my car. I cranked up my favorite song to full volume to hide the sound of my hearbeat. But it was shortlived, as the school came she just went away without glancing at me.

As I jogged to my class,  mike who was also in my class asked me If I was interested in football. I replied "cool I'll join" and listened to class.

The day passed and finally I was eager to meet zoya at lunch. I went to the same table and saw that ziad had put his chair so close to zoya that even air can't pass between them.

I glared at ziad and took my seat besides wincy. I took out my lunch which is chicken sandwich made by me. Zoya brought pizza which was mostly eaten by ziad. She scolded ziad "I am hungry demon, you ate all mine".

I offered her my lunch, she took it and thanked me. I saw ziad looking at me with his clenched teeth. The lunch ended and I informed both Maya and zoya that I can't drop them because I was gonna meet coach later. They said fine and we all parted.

In the evening I changed my dress and went to see the coach. When I entered, I clashed with ziad. He said "watch your step"and we went inside.

Coach looked at us from behind his glasses. He said "I just need one player for the team who must be very skilled and built in,but you two can pass up for the team and I have to think about it".

He announced "tomorrow I will asses u both  and select one of you for the team". We both agreed and went outside . ziad shouted "don't be a coward and take a leave, face me tomorrow, we'll see who wins".

I knew hated me because of zoya but I could win with little effort because I was a starplayer back in my school. He just made me his rival which was not gonna end up good. I wished he know that.
