Chapter 19

(Abigail's pov)

"Kari wake up sweetie," I said shaking him slightly. Karis eye kids fluttered open and he smiled. "Good morning beautiful how was your night?" he sung wrapping his arms around my waist. "Mine was wonderful with you by my side," I sung back giggling. "when I open my eyes to see your sweet face it's a good morning beautiful day," Kari sung. I giggled and kissed Kari before grabbing clothes from my suit case. I grabbed a pair of shorts and a thanksgiving t-shirt. I turned around and Kari pulled a t-shirt over his head that I made for him out of Cats hand print it was a turkey just like mine. "Awe you're wearing it!" I exclaimed smiling it. "Of course I am," he said smiling. Kari used his crutches and went to sit at the dining room table so he could watch me, my sister, and mom cook.

"Kirsten get out of the kitchen," Addison said and we all laughed. Kirsten wasn't the best cook but, luckily for Kristen Josh was a pretty good cook.

The kids played and we all ate throughout the day it was a great day.

I unpacked the suitcases while Kari sat in bed. Thanksgiving was fun and my family loved Kari. It was exciting with the announcement of Addison having a baby boy. "So when are you going to let me put Cathy on skates?" Kari asked while he flicked through channels. "When you're better," I said sticking my tongue out at him. "really!" he exclaimed his face brightening. "You're going to do in no matter what so why not," I said shrugging just as I finished.

"Want to go see a movie Cat?" Kari asked Cat sweetly. We had been hanging out around the house and we were super bored! "Or we can invite the team and their families over for a Barbecue," I said smiling. "You sure?" Kari asked smiling. "Yes! It'll be fun we can swim an play some outdoor hockey and whatever else," I said smiling. "Alright I'll call the guys," Kari said smiling. "Okay I'm going to the store to get barbecue supplies," I said smiling and grabbing my purse.
