(Abigail's pov)

I woke up to the beeping of the alarm and hoped in the shower. I then changed into a white long sleeve v-neck and matched it with a team Finland scarf. I then slipped on my blue jeans and woke up my sister. After we were both ready we went and got some muffins and coffee before heading over to the arena to watch practice.

"How'd you sleep?" Addison asked taking a sip of her Hot chocolate. "Pretty good. It's hard getting use to the changing time zone and it feels weird not having cat with me," I told her taking a sip of my hot carmel flavored coffee. "I know! I'm not use to it being so peaceful," Addison joked as we walked into the arena. We watched team Finland practicing.

The practice ended and we waited outside for Olli and Kari. "Why do you crazies wait outside! Its warmer inside," Kari said his accent seeming thicker than usual. Probably from hanging around all the other Fins. The four of us walked around the little farmers market.

"It's beautiful here isn't it?" I asked Kari as he put his arm on my shoulder. "Yeah it is," he said smiling.

"You guys have a big day tomorrow sleep good," I told them both as my sister and I said goodnight to both guys. "Night Abigail love you," Kari said kissing my lips as Olli did the same to my sister. Addison and I went into our hotel room. Addison's phone started ringing. I gave her a questioning look and she mouthed 'Ollis mom'. I just nodded as she stepped on the balcony.

KNOCK!

KNOCK!

KNOCK!

I sighed and got up to see a huge grinning Kari with a smiling Olli besides him. "I guess you guys are our wake up call?" I asked smiling. "Yup! It's hockey day!" Kari said smiling. "Go wake up Addison Olli," I said stepping aside so he could go wake up his wife.

I walked out of the bathroom wearing my Finland jersey of course with Karis last name on the back. I had matched it with baby blue jeans and a pair of white uggs. I then slipped on my mittens and and a beanie.

"Ready?" both Finnish men asked at the same time causing Addison and I to chuckle. "Yup!" we both exclaimed getting excited. Olli and Addison walked ahead of Kari and I. "Do you think my parents will be there?" he asked curious. "I don't know...I hope so," I told him. We walked over to the player entrance and I hugged Kari wishing him good luck and did the same to Olli.

Addison found our seats and glanced out over the bright white ice to see the lights bringing it to life it was amazing. "Hello dear! nice to see you again!" we heard a Finnish voice say. I looked up and saw Addison hugging who I assumed was Ollis parents. "This is my sister Abigail," my sister introduced me smiling. They sat besides Addison and they fell into conversation. "Hello," I heard a unfamiliar voice say. I looked up and could only assume they were Karis parents. "You must be Abigail," Karis mom greeted me much more nicely by hugging me then his dad who just nodded at me. "This is my sister Addison she's married to Olli Maatta," I told them. They all shook hands and greeted each other.

The game ended 2-1 against Russia and we were all smiles waiting for the guys. "Do you mind if I speak with you alone?" Kari father whispered in my ear. "No I don't mind lets go," I said and informed Karis mom we were going on a walk before we just disappeared.

We walked in silence for a little bit before Karis dad broke the silence. "You know my son and my relationship isn't prefect," he told me. "Yes I know that," I told him stuffing my hands in my jean pockets. "You don't know a lot about my son. He's not a good guy. leave him while you have the chance," he told me in complete seriousness. "W-What?" I stuttered in disbelief. "You seem like somewhat of a nice girl. leave him while you can," he said again. "Are you kidding me! I love your son!" I said raising my voice slightly. "Don't yell at me you child!" he said raising his voice as well. "I have a child so don't call me a child I'm 27," I told him trying to hold in my anger. "Make sense why Kari likes you. He always liked sluts," Karis dad sneered at me. "How can you even say that?! You don't know me!" I exclaimed upset. "Maybe you need to leave my son alone! You are a slut and I don't need you ruining my sons life more than he's already ruined it hisself!" His dad said. I felt a few tears slip down my cheek as I turned to run back to where Kari would be waiting. I felt a hand grab my wrist roughly. "You better not tell Kari anything," he hissed into my ear. "Stop you're hurting me," I said. "I'm trying to rebuild my relationship with my son don't you ruin it," he said. "O-Okay," I stuttered. He let go of my wrist and I rubbed where he was grasping it to hard. I then took off running back to where Kari would be. Once I got close I walked instead.

I walked up to see Kari and his mom talking. Kari looked at me and his face turned into shock. I held my wrist while tears slipped down my cheeks. "Babe what's wrong," Kari asked running up to me and pulling me into his warm embrace. Karis dad walked up and I looked at the hard glare he was giving me. I cowered into Karis embrace burying my face in his chest.

"What did you do to her!" Kari yelled at his dad. "Son what are you talking about?" His dad asked as if he didn't have a clue. "You were the last one with her and now she's scared of you! What did you do to her!" Kari growled at his dad. "We just talked didn't we?" Karis dad asked putting his hand on my shoulder making me flinch. "Mom it was great seeing you. Dad don't bother coming to another game!" Kari said and then put his arm around my shoulder and we walked to a cafe.

"Are you okay?" Kari asked as we sat down. I just nodded looking down at my wrist which was already bruising. "What did he do to you? Kari asked causing me to look at him. "Called me some names. threatened me. bruised my wrist," I said not wanting to talk much about it anymore. "Dont worry baby you don't have to see him anymore. I'm so sorry," Kari said sincereness in his voice. "It's okay Kari I'm fine. Y'all won! Which is the most important thing," I told him kissing his lips sweetly.

Kari and I walked back to the hotel after eating to find Addison and Olli asleep together. "Wanna do that?" Kari asked me smiling. "Yes," I said yawning at the end. I kicked off my shoes and climbed in bed besides Kari. He wrapped one arm around my stomach and then held onto one of my hands with the other. I wrapped my legs in his and soon fell asleep in the comforting embrace.
