Okay, it's no big deal. I let out a long sigh.
"You ready?" Austin asked me, grabbing my hand and intertwining our fingers. I nodded my head and he hopped out of his car, jogged around the front, and opened my door.
"Thanks," I said quietly. I started walking towards his house.
"Hey," he stopped me, gently gripping my arm. "Are you nervous?" he asked me, his eyes wide.
"Of course I am Austin, I told you I've never met any guy's mom before so, yes I'm super nervous. I just want her to like me..." I told him, looking to the ground.
Austin lifted my chin up and looked in my eyes. "She's going to love you. I just know it," he assured me. I breathed in and slowly let it out, trying to calm myself. We started heading towards his house. "Where's that confident, blue eyed sassy girl I talked to that day?" he teased. I playfully shoved him and he laughed.
We walked through the front door and I began examining everything. His house looks so much more different when 200 people aren't in it, I thought. It was so gorgeous; the beautiful chandelier that hung in the foyer to the cat walk that I've always dreamed of having in a home of my own one day.
"Mom? Are you here?" Austin called, his voice echoing through the house. There was no answer. He began slipping off his sneakers so I slipped off my wedges.
"Austin," I whispered, "your house is so amazing...it looks way better now than it did last Friday night."
He looked at me and giggled. "Come on," he said, taking my hand, "let me give you an official tour."
We walked through the whole house and Austin showed me everything. There were 5 bedrooms and the most gorgeous bathrooms. Austin's bedroom looked like the typical guys bedroom. There was a huge TV with an XBOXplugged into it. There were Chicago Bulls posters hanging all along the wall next to ones for the San Antonio Spurs. On the back of his door there was a little basketball hoop with the foam basketball. "So you like basketball?" I teased. We then continued back downstairs where he showed me the living room, kitchen, dining room, and a few others. We then went outside. There was a nice deck with a table and couple chairs. Then, I saw his pool.
He must've noticed me eyeing it because he asked, "Wanna go for a swim later?"
"Why not now?" I jokingly asked him, winking. His eyes widened and a huge smile appeared on his face. He picked me up, wedding style and toted me over to the pool. "Austin Carter, you better not throw me in with my clothes on," I warned. Laughing, he sat me down.
"Well hurry up, let's go," Austin said, taking his shirt off. I knew that Austin was fit, but when he took his shirt off, my jaw dropped. I tried to compose myself but I kept sneaking obvious glances at him. I tried to get the zipper down on the dress I was wearing but I couldn't get my arms to bend the way I need them to. "You need some help, Baby?" Austin called to me.
"I can't get this zipper," I told him. He walked over to me and started to brush my hair away from my back. He had gotten it all to one side of my shoulder and began to unzip, sneaking a kiss onto my shoulder. I was nervous but I stepped out of the dress, revealing my body in just my bra and panties. This is no different than him seeing me in a bathing suit, relax, I told myself. I walked over to the edge of the pool, looking into the water. Austin unzipped his jeans and slid them off, revealing his boxers. He walked over and stood beside me. He grasped my hand.
