Blue Rose Part 2

Hey guys this is part 2. I might make a part 3 to this but idk should I?

"Did you guys hear that?" Hunk asks, looking towards the door.

"Yeah, what do you think it was?" Shiro asked, a hint of concern in his voice. 

"Do you guys think it was Lance?" Pidge asks, a small bead of sweat dripping down their face. Everyone looks at each other, then stood up from their seats, and walk towards Lance's room. They pick up their speed, until they finally reach his room. 

Shiro knocks on the door, but there is no response. He tries again, but the same thing happens.

"Lance? Buddy you OK in there?" No response. The paladins look at each other, shooting knowing glances at one another. But when they opened the door, what they found was nothing like what they had expected.

Lance's frail body lay on the floor, a huge hole in his chest. He had a small smile on his face, almost like he was happy. There was a small trail of blood that dripped out of his slightly ajar mouth. Oh, how peaceful the blue paladin looked. His eyes were not their usual bright blue, but had a glazed look on them. 

Pidge had let out a scream of terror at the sight, while Hunk had shielded her eyes holding her close as he started to cry. 

Keith had thrown himself on the ground next to Lance, small tears starting to fall down his pale face. 

"Why!!?? Why did you do this Lance!?!? I didn't get to tell you that I love you, you stupid!!" He was balling at this point. 

Shiro just stared at the dead boy on the ground. He had failed in protecting his teammates. He looked at a table near Lance, and saw a small folded note there. He picked it up, and started to read it out loud, tears staring to silently fall down his cheeks. 

Dear Everyone,

I'm sorry I couldn't be the paladin you all wanted me to be. I'm sorry I was a failure and I was too weak and stupid. Please don't blame this on yourselves. I mean, you guys didn't know I had depression. 

To all of you,

Shiro-

Shiro I don't know what to say. You were my hero. I always looked up to you, that's why I went to the Garrison. You were like my space dad. You are an amazing leader, don't think my death was caused b you. Keep up the great work, and find someone who will properly pilot blue for me.

Coron-

You were like my space uncle. You always would listen to me complain and listen to all of my stories. You were the only good thing in my life. You are the best person anyone could ever know. Don't ever stop being fabulous Coron. Coron Coron the Gorgeous man amiright?

Pidge-

You were like my little space sister. Although I may have looked stupid, I understood every single thing you every said to me. I know you just needed to vent sometimes, and I understand that. You will always be my little sister. 

Hunk-

What can I say buddy? You are the best. You are always so nice and calm and overall you are great. You're cooking was the best that's for sure! You will always be my best friend. Don't blame yourself. Keep cooking and don't stop being awesome!

Allura-

I never really liked you. It was just a joke but when you took it seriously I had to go along with it. You always were like a really strict space mom to me. Please date Shiro. You guys were killing me.(Not literally) Maybe go a little bit more easy on the other will ya? Don't want them dying do you? 

Keith-

I always had a crush on you. Ever since the garrison. I know you probably think it's gross, but i couldn't help it. Although you can be pretty emo at times, it always made my day when I saw you smile. I know I could never  make you do that though. Don't blame this on yourself either. You were one of the main reasons why I stayed alive for so long. I love you Keith.

I love you all. You were like the big space family I never had. Please don't forget about me. But don't waist your lives mourning my death. Find a new paladin worthy of Blue. And, if possible, could you bury me with Blue Roses?
