(All of the dialogue is in spanish, but I'm too lazy too translate it so yay. P.s i know some spanish so i might put that in there. I could make a part 2 if wanted.)

"Lance! Mijo, wake up!" A woman, in her late thirty's, yelled up the stairs at one of her sons. The woman, named Rosa, had already started to make breakfast for her large family. Most of her children were outside, waiting for her to finish making their food. Rosa worked quickly, speeding all over the kitchen, grabbing this and that. For the small beach house they lived in, she was sure able to move.

Lance grumbled as he stood from his warm bed. Her stumbled around his room, grabbing a tank top and shorts, and throwing them on. He walked out of his shared room, and down the hall to where he smelled food.

"Mornin' Mama" Lance said cheerily, his attitude much different from when he had woke. He gently kissed the top of his mothers head, receiving a look from the much shorter woman.

"Lance, mijo, I love you and all, but you have to wake up earlier!" She continued to rant on about something, but the boy was not listening. He looked out to window to see all of his siblings playing together. Veronica, Luis, and Marco were tackling each other, while his older siblings were just chilling. His aunts and uncles haven't arrived yet, but they live right next to them so they should be there soon.

"Lance!" Luis cries out, and runs over to his twin. Lance chuckles, ruffling the slightly younger boy's hair. His older sister, Esmeralda, patted him on the shoulder.

"Nice to know sleeping beauty woke up," She says with a chuckle. Lance laughs along with her, as they all sit down at the table.

"Ah Ah no, all of you go wash your hands, I do not tolerate any of your dirty hands at my clean table," She says, flicking a spatula at all of them. The children all groan, but go to their small bathroom and wash their hands. Once done, they return to the table and the group pile bacon and pancakes onto their plates.

"Gracias Mama!" They all say, before chowing down on their food.

After their breakfast, Lance yells to his family.

"I'm going out to the store then I'm going to the beach, later!" Lance grabs his bag, and slides his sun kissed toes into his sandals.(flip flops)He runs out of his house, before anyone can respond to his words. He strolled down the hot paved road, watching as the water washes up onto the warm sun glistened sand, wetting it.

He finally makes it to the store, grabbing some fruit and vegetables. He pays for the stuff he got and walked out of the store. He strolled back down the road, taking in every part of Varadero, Cuba. His home. A place where he belonged.

"Hola Lance! Good morning!" A young woman in her twenty's said with a wave. Lance smiled and waved in response, wishing her a good morning as well.

"Ah, Lance good morning," an old man said from his spot on a deck. He sat in a dark wooden rocking chair, smiling a toothy grin. Not one that was weird, or scary, but a nice genuine smile.

"Mornin' George. I got you a present," Lance says, reaching into his bag and pulling out a hard candy. The man laughs, and takes the sweet treat.

"Why thank you Lance, that's very kind of you," he says, popping the candy into his mouth.

"I'll bring another tomorrow again. Can't forget the Mornin routine now can we?" Lance says with a wink as he starts to walk away. He hears the man chuckle behind, which makes Lance smile.

He finally makes it back to his home, walking in and instantly is welcomed to yelling and screaming children. He lets out a huff, walking into the kitchen and throwing his bag on the table where many of his family sat.

"I'm going to the beach soon!" He called throughout the house, which caused everyone to go into a frenzy. Lance quickly made his way to his room, grabbing his swim shorts and walking outside after. He uses the private shower there, letting the water drip over his tan sun kissed body. Once done, he dried off, and pulled his swim trunks on. When he walked in, everyone was already ready.

"Let's go Mijo," the woman said, and led everyone out of the house.

By now, the sun had started to set, and that meant Lance' day was almost over. He sat beside his mother, with his toes dipped in the water.

"Mama, I don't want this to end," Lance breathes. The woman chuckles. It sends warmth inside of Lance. His mothers laugh was one of the things he loved most about her.

"I'm sorry Mijo, but all good things must come to an end. I love you Lance, please take care and stay strong for me," she whispers, and suddenly everything falls away from Lance. Everything he loved. Everything he cared for.

Gone.
