You are not alone.

If any of you are a victim of sexual assault and or rape, just know that there are people you can talk to.

I am one of those people.

If you need someone to listen to you all night, then I'm more than willing to be that person. I know how it feels to think that no one is there or understands what you're going through and if you'd rather talk to someone you know for a fact has been through something as traumatizing as rape or sexual assault, I'm always available.

I wrote this book as sort of an awareness so if you're easily triggered, please DO NOT read.

Also, please remember that not everyone's reaction to sexual violence is the same. If you or someone you know has experienced something different, please know that I'm not discrediting your reaction or belittling your experience.

Everyone is different.

If you feel like it won't get better, it will. Hopefully this book can sort of serve as place where you can start a conversation and talk to people. So with that being said, if you're comfortable with talking about whatever it is you want to talk about, you can and I can promise that I will try to respond to everyone.

If you want to talk to me privately, you can either message me here, or go to my Instagram @ssweet_serendipityy. Either is perfectly fine, but just know that you're not alone.

Please talk to me, a friend, a school counselor, your parents, or a trusted adult if you feel alone or you can't go on.

I promise, it gets better.

Remember that it wasn't your fault and I love you.

This is the sexual assault hotline number in America so if you don't live in the country and want to talk to a trained professional, call your local hotline.
