Two weeks have passed since she was violated and Beca has still yet to go to the class. Chloe tried to convince her to talk to somebody but Beca always refused. The only thing she let her convince her of was to go get tested for STD's.

The tests came back negative which gave both women a sense of relief, but while they were at the hospital, Beca felt as if she were on display for the whole world to see. She felt completely humiliated which was the exact thing she was scared of.

Chloe was there though, and she reassured her that it was okay and that nobody else knew about what happened.

Nobody else could ever know.

Her bruises were almost completely gone. A few days after she told Chloe about her being violated, Chloe had begged Beca to let her take pictures of all the marks and bruises she had.

It put Beca in a spiral and she had locked herself in the bathroom again for several hours. Eventually, she figured that it would be better if she let Chloe take the pictures.

She didn't want anything happening to anyone else that may have fallen victim to him.

That being said, she was thinking about going to the dean like Chloe suggested- more like begged her to. Beca still couldn't say the r word because although she felt every single ounce of what happened to her everyday, it's like she couldn't believe it happened.

Because if she said it out loud, then it actually happened. She didn't want it to be real.

All the Bellas have noticed the huge change in Beca because all she wanted to do was stay in her room and wear baggy clothes. She looked tired with bags under her eyes and the worst part- the part that made all of them sad for her, was that most nights they heard her cry.

Chloe was always quick to crawl her bed or hold onto Beca when she crawled into hers but sometimes it didn't stop the crying. Chloe was lacking sleep but she would do anything for her best friend, especially with what happened to her.

Beca was scared. She was scared to be alone, scared to close her eyes, and scared of men. She knew deep down that just because one man violated her doesn't mean all men will, but she couldn't help it. Because of the professor, she was know terrified of all men and she hated that. Chloe did help Beca make progress from blaming herself to realizing it wasn't her fault.

Another week passed and all the Bellas were now sitting in the living room, waiting for Beca to speak up. She was so close to Chloe she might as well been sitting in her lap but the redhead didn't care. She wrapped her arm around Beca and held on tight.

She hated how she was making everyone else feel and knowing that she trusted those girls with her life, she felt safe with them and that's why they were all gathered in the living room.

She had an internal battle with herself with whether or not she should tell them what happened. At first she didn't want to because she was humiliated and utterly destroyed, but Chloe told her over and over again that they would understand and still love and support the way they do. So with a lot of help from Chloe, she decided on talking to them. She still couldn't actually say the word, but she was going to try.

"You can do this," Chloe whispered in her ear before kissing her temple.

Beca closed her eyes and pulled her knees up to her chest before biting her lip.

"Something happened a few weeks ago," she started and her voice sounded just as broke as she was. Tears began forming in her eyes as she looked down at her hands, not being able to look at her friend's. "Professor Gilbert had asked me to stay after class."

She had to pause because she not only started to cry harder, but also began to feel even more humiliated and she hated the feeling.

She just wanted it to go away.

She quickly glanced up at everyone and they all had concerned expressions. Stacie, being the closest, scooted closer to hold onto her hand and have it a soft squeeze.

Beca's chest started to quickly move up and down and she bit her lip so hard she started to taste metallic liquid.

"He-" she stopped again and let out a small cry before Chloe pulled her in for a hug and rubbed circles on her bad as she whispered sweet nothings into her ear.

The girls' hearts broke for Beca and they all immediately stood to put her in the middle of a warm and comforting group hug.

"We're here for you, Bec," she heard Amy say and she nuzzled her head deeper into Chloe's warm neck.

She enjoyed doing that because not only was the sweet scent of Chloe's perfume inviting and intoxicating, but it reminded her the the bubbly redhead would always have her back no matter what; she would always be there to pick up Beca's broken heart. Beca absolutely adored her and she was so grateful for their friendship.

It took another 30 minutes before Beca slowed her crying down to just a few tears here and there. Once more with the help of Chloe, she was able to tell them she's a victim of sexual assault.

The atmosphere quickly changed from just being sorrowful, to being angry along with several other emotions. Stacie felt guilty though. She was the one who left her alone with him, knowing that he was a weird man so she broke down with her head in her hands.

"Why are you crying?" Beca managed to ask, reaching out for her friend.

"If I didn't leave you alone, none of this would have happened," she said through gritted teeth. Stacie was heartbroken for Beca and angry and not only their professor, but also herself for letting it happen. "We even went to the fucking useless dean and he didn't do shit!"

"It's not your fault, Stace," the brunette said lowly. "I told you to go on. It's nobody's fault but his."

"How can you even say that, Beca?" She said unintentionally getting louder. "He raped you!"

Beca winced at the word she refused to acknowledge and she squeezed her eyes shut, moving back into Chloe's side. She hated that word; absolutely despised it and tried her best to pretend that she wasn't raped.

She wanted everything to go back to normal, where she could laugh and have fun with her friends like she use to. She didn't want to be stuck where all she could do was cry and be scared to walk out of the front door and learn like she stayed in college for.

"I'm sorry," Stacie immediately said moving to touch Beca's leg. "I didn't mean to yell."

"I know," she replied biting her lip.

"Are you going to tell the dean?" Emily cautiously asked and Beca looked at her.

"I don't know," she barely said above a whisper and the room quickly filled with the girls begging her to do something. All except Chloe who rubbed circles on the palm of her hand, holding it close to her chest. The brunette gave her a pleading look and Chloe spoke up.

"Guys," the redhead started, grabbing everyone's attention. "She let me take pictures of the bruises and marks, but she's not ready to report it."

"We understand," Cynthia spoke up and someone suggested that they all relax and watch movies the rest of the night.

Today was the day that Beca began healing. It was slow and took a lot of effort, but knowing that her friends still continued to show her an endless amount of love and support helped a lot.

That night was the first night she was distracted enough to go a few hours without breaking down. Chloe definitely noticed this and made sure to steal glances at the woman whose head rested on her chest and arms that held onto her tightly throughout the night.

She was in love with her.
