I woke up, after a long party of music, games, comedy, and things I dont even remeber. I rubbed my head and saw balloons on the floor, and confetti on my bed. I got up and remeberd what the party was for, a new world. Where the vault members would go out and build West Virginia back to its former glory, and the hearts of people who lost it all. I got a new vault suit on and grabbed my pip boy from the container. I opened my door and did a small chuckle, being reminded of all the fun I had that night. I walked out and walked through masses of confetti, balloons, and cups that still had a drink in it. I made my way to the exit, getting emotional, after all this was my home. I passed a few Mr Handy's that wished me luck and safe travels.
When I got to the vault door, I stopped. I could feel the world slow down and my life flashed before my eyes. I remeber growing up here, and making new friends, but at the same time, I knew this was the right thing to do. I stepped through the vault door, and walked into a new life, a new world, new opportunities, and Death.I stood there, gasping for air, feeling light headed, it felt amazing. I fell to the ground, feeling earth for the first time. I clenched the grass below me and held my chest. Once I got my body used to this new environment I got up and brushed my knees off and started to go off when I saw somthing in the distances. I squinted my eyes and held my hand up, blocking the sun. "What the hell?" I stepped closer looking confused at this figure. "Is, is that another vault dweller?"
I tested my luck and started my way to this figure, thinking it was a vault dweller like my self. "Hey, uh, mister? Can you help me? Maybe we could trade! I got gum drops!" I shouted and ran twords the figure. But then I stopped and looked at him dead in the eyes, his yellow, beaty eyes. "ghoul..ghoul!" I ran as fast as I could, but being in a vault, we really had no reason to run, but I sure felt like I was built for it. I sprinted twords an old town and hid in an old shop that sold clothes. I hid behind the counter, while panicking and praying for my life. I stayed low and heard his foot steps fade off. After about ten minutes of fear I stood up an crept away. Before leaving the vault we learned survival skills, all the different types of monsters out there, and the risks we all would take for the greater good."How come, I cant find others?" I stood there in confusion, when I think of the fearful truth.
"Are, they dead?" I sat under a tree in the blazing sun, having no idea where I am.
I trembled in fear for my freinds and family.
I shook my head thinking that they must be alive for I did leave the vault last. "I have to survive! I have all the things to start and survive!" I proudly stood up and made my way south. After a few miles my feet started to hurt with agonizing pain. Then just like if the gods spoke to me, I saw a little town. When I entered I stayed low and on full alert. I saw nothing and decided to set up camp for my first night. I found an old bed and a broken container that I could store goods in. I drug that over to a house that had the least damage done and made myself at home. "Good night Commonwealth, and good night my fellow vault buds."
