After a few days of leaving the vault I realized all the pain these people have been through. It hurt just watching them suffer like they do. Also I have encountered many new species like none other we learned in the Vault.

Before leaving I made a promise to my team that I would be in charge of collecting Specimens and samples of the Commonwealth, so far I've collected different dirt samples to do which place has the most radiation in the soil, due to farming reasons.

I sat on a tree stump holding a Bobby pin in my mouth putting my hair in a messy bun, letting some hair fall in my face. Then I noticed my Vault Uniform was torn in the shoulder. "Damn I remember you. Hah, what a stupid move I made, how dare I ever think I was eligible to climb a burnt tree."

I chuckled remember when I was collecting fungi off the tree, falling what seemed to be my death but only a few feet cutting my vault suit. I pushed up my glasses and continued my journey. "I don't understand why we have to file these journal reports. Is this a test we take or what?"

I walk a few paces before seeing a man in the distance, my eyes widen. He is wearing blue. I dashed records him shouting. "Vault 76! Vault 76!" I could not think of anything else to say.

I approached him with cation and stayed low, I had no weapons on me simply a note book and small sample tubes. The man turned around with fear gleaming in his eyes, scared for his life. "Y-Your from Vault 76? Right?" I croaked our.

The man nodded and looked down, like he was in shame. "I'm Blake Davids. Nice to meet you, your Kate Murffy, right?" I was shocked he knew my name.

"Yeah that's me I guess, hey uh by the way you look. Awful." I said honestly.

The man was younger than I expected from getting a view from afar. He had already torn his vault suit up bad and had cuts across his face and hands. I wanted to lighten up the mood. "Hey how did you know my name Blake?" I said tilting to one side with my hands on my hips.

He looked up, his eyes filled with hope and excitement. "Your the Vaults Science and medical researcher everyone knows you!" He had a big smile across his hurt face.

I smiled back at him, then nodding off in the distance. "Did you come from that town over there?" He turned around and nodded.
"I was the last one to leave to vault. I mistaken a ghoul for one of us. And ended up there." He was a man of a few words.

From his looks he had to be in his early twenties. Blond hair, a bit shorter than me.  "What happened to you? You got hurt or something?" He lifted his hands that had dry blood around the palms and dry blood on his vault suit. He frowned.

"I was cleaning up the place I call "home" it's not much, just a bed, old crate, and a few shelf's. It would be nice to set up a shop in the future. But I'm not sure." He had lost all hope.

"Blake lets join forces! I believe that this is a great chance for me and you! I could help you with survival tactics. And you could help me, by um. Yes! You could help me set up a farm and possibly a settlement for the other people from the vault!" I smiled at him. He looked like a little boy.

"Doctor, thank you so much. I need help. Yesterday a ghoul almost killed me, I, I wanna learn how to make it out here like the others do!" He stood strong.
Then after that we headed back to the little house and got to work.

First you cleaned,we found buckets and collected water from the near by river, and washed the floors and walls of the house, then we put wooden planks by the open areas, soon it felt a bit safer. It is getting late now, and after a hard afternoon of working. I think the journal entry shall end here. Good night, and don't die.
