"You poor soul. Let me help you."
The girl wrapped with smooth white silk, plucked a feather off one of her massive bundle of soft feathers that shook in the breeze on her back. The ring of light swaying along with the wind; it's not attached yet never left.
"Take this feather and thou will live with the winged servants of the Lord. The Lord will allow thee to live upon us and thy fate will be decided up in the Lord's land. I will now send thy to the land of the beloved and remembered. "
The transparent figure shook their head.
"I want to see my daughter! I left her in the house with her Grandmother. We're poor you see. I can't just leave them alone and starving. They're probably wondering where I am! Please let me help them!"
The girl with the aura merely shook her head and replied in the most softest and sweetest reassuring voice.
"Don't worry, my child. The Lord will watch over them, but if that's what you desire I shall let you glance at your family one last time."
The angel swirled her feather in a series of patterns that created a faint light. The light then darkened and disappeared, a mirror then took its place.
"This mirror will show you your family."
The ghostly figure held the mirror and peered into it with tears in their eyes. Giggles and quiet shouts escaped the mirror.
"You're Mother will be home soon, child. She'll be super angry at you if you don't do your chores." The old woman spoke
"But I wanna play some more!" The child insisted
The soul holding the mirror began to cry and whisper sweet words into the mirror.
"Come now child, let us go to the kingdom above."
The figure glanced up and offered the mirror back.
"Keep it, it seems you need it more than I."
"Thank you. Bless you."
The angel handed the feather to the ghost in her left hand while the other has the mirror clutched against her chest. There was a bright flash that slowly dimmed out. What was a ghost, is now a blue fiery flame, blazing and dancing in the bright light coming from above. The flame raised and traveled into the light.
The angel flapped her wings into the sky, knowing what to do. She flew in the night; high enough that it looked like she can grasp the moon. She pushed herself to reach the artificial light source, that's built on the Coast. She pauses and flaps above the city at a certain height that no one can see her, even in a sky scraper.
Using her second sight, she searched for the same woman and toddler in the small apartment.
"Found you. May the Lord bless thee and thou shall live in harmony." She pressed her hands together in prayer and a small light dawned on her, making the halo shine brighter.
It pierced through the clouds and the dark, it looked so different and bright compared to the city lights. It shone onto a window for a brief moment, then faded out. With a small smile she fluttered to that same window and peered into it. The now small family, looked too happy and perfect.
The angel inhaled and exhaled with a slight accomplishment. She flew up again, higher than where she went. When she was satisfied with the amount of distance she closed her eyes, muttered a few words, then disappeared in a bright light. That also faded away.

A breath of relief, the angel appeared at her favourite branch in front of the lovely moon, the gateway to heaven.
The moon and sun are the gateways to heaven because they're so bright, no human can see. The gateway and heaven are both bright, making the sun and moon illuminate and shine brighter. Without the gateway or heaven the sun and moon won't have the same aura of light surrounding it. It's a shame that humans can't see the beautiful lights unlike angels.
The aura around the sun is like a barrier, once you pass through the lights you're invisible to everyone. Only pure souls and angels can pass it anyways, unless if the demon has errands to run, under supervision and with a message from the current ruler. Angels and demons don't trust each other much, that's why they keep their separate gateways a secret.
Marigold the angel, perched on the tree, doesn't entirely know why angels hate demons. Sure they're different in looks and in personality, why not show them love and maybe they can change? People think she is the definition of pure innocence and is no way a human soul, which in fact she isn't.
She's a pure angel, she doesn't entirely know where pure angels come from though. However, the Lord has told her she was never a human soul and might never pass on. Which is quite sad, when you watch everyone else you know leave and come back a different person and never age.
The main thing that eats away at Marigold's bright and innocent mind, is that she can never find love. A love that will last forever. A special bond of affection shared with another that will last till the end of time of her.
The girl on the branch peers into the moon, feeling that presence of another and their eyes starring daggers into her back. Marigold is so used to the feeling of another behind her, she almost feels comfortable coming back here to feel the stares. It's not like anyone can see her anyway, the humans can't see her unless they believe deeply in angels. Or it could be an animal that serves the mighty Lord.
The halo above her head started to fade as her magic calmed from lack of use. Letting the wings that were connected to her back by an invisible string of magic stretch. The pure angels have larger wings than human souls. There are three different types of angels, there are pure angels (which is Marigold), human angels and half angels. Each race of angels live in harmony and peace, they're treated equally. Surprisingly, but then again, they're all angels, or half at least.
There are eight rulers of Heaven, the Lord himself who rules all, Son of Christ, the Mother and Queen of Christ, The Guardian of Pure Angels, The Guardian of Human Souls, The half Angel Guardian and The Holy Spirit. Each of these rulers have a specific task to serve the Lord and to Heaven itself. The minor jobs that are given to Pure angels are the gate keepers who protect and activate the gate and the soul guiders, which is Marigold's job. However, the soul guider job can be shared between the pure angles and the half angels, since there aren't many pure angels nowadays.
"More like nowayears...." Marigold thought
Due to their long life span, angles don't age unless if they pass on. Pure angels can't pass on unlike the half angels and human souls. The human souls can either pass onto another body immediately after the death or stay as an angel for some time then pass on.
There are rumours about a sacred bowl that produces holy water and can make pure angels and half angels pass on automatically. Usually angels would receive a blessing from the Lord; but no angel has ever seen the Lord himself...
