It is nicknamed medusa and it can harm you in a certain way. Another similarity to the woman would be; Just like the snakes on medusa's head it has many types of hair for each individual of these "Things", some people say it even looks like lace. There is a movie named after this "Thing", the movie was created in Japan. There is a movie in America where a talking blue fish sets on a journey to find another fishes son, finds this "Thing" and names it something cute. It may be hard to find because they are usually traveling in a dark and dense place but sometimes you might find it migrating in a group. One way you could find them in this dark, dense place is their luminescent glow it make from it's body. It is known to eat bacteria and it can swallow fish whole.
