I'm a mountain

I stood like a mountain

Even when thousands of waves hit me.

Taking all the pain inside

I showed my strength from outside.

It just took one lightning thunder

That showed up my scar

And it made me vulnerable

Because it was you!

Winds consoled me with a calm touch,

Raindrops filled up my scar,

I was trying hard to stand like before

But the scar was deep

That made my steep slopes so weak.

Rocks were sliding down on them

And I looked at the lighting

And Said with a smile

"Thanks! For destroying my pride

I thought waves were the only danger

I was so busy in deflecting them

That I never looked at you.

But here you warned with me a bolt

And now I know the sky whom

I believed to be my protector

Can turn against me too!"

But remember I'm a mountain

I'll climb high above the clouds

That you would ask me for a way"
