unexpected (chapter ten)

I just stopped.... Quite surprised... And then... The spark of his thoughts just echoed through my head. How did I not remember the dream over...may be while trying to forget the pain.. I'm erasing the memory which I should think about...

"oh... I'm sorry, hey" I answered getting back from the lost world .

"hmm... Looks like someones very professional " he chuckled... And I started giggling .

"haha.. Well I guess, not that much "

"so... Umm.. "

"yeah...?"

"Umm... Are you free tonight? " he asked.

"yeah... I was just returning back from work actually.. "

"oh... Umm.. I was just wondering... If you could have some time with me... I mean... We should hang out together... " I could feel that a slight nervous tone was going around his voice.

"Umm.. Well... Sure. I guess it'll be fun. " I answered.

"really...? Ummm... I mean... Okay... Then. I'll be picking you up from your place. "

"alright. See ya. "

"Mhm. See ya soon "

I hung up the phone....

Well it's just a friendly hangout... So why was he a bit nervous about it. I don't why my heart is feeling a bit sense of... Kinda nice. Was I hoping to hear him?... Again... Weird thoughts coming in my mind. But I control it. (no, no... It's just his sweet gesture. Nothing special... What's wrong with you Subhangi? ...you can't let these stupid hope come... So please don't think too much. Just hold on your guard. )

But..... (no... Just Shut up. Don't fear, don't think... Don't let things in)

Anyways.... I returned.

Lucy opened the door heartily.

" welcome miss hard working. " she joked.

" cmn... You know I'm a lazy chick. "
I said putting my belongings to the sofa.

She let out a small laugh.

I thought of taking a bath. I put on the shower's handle. As soon as the water started coming out... It fluently went through my skin... It's feels so comforting.... Nothing's better than a warm water shower.

After my cleansing session... I wrapped myself in a towel and blow dried my hair.

Took out some clothes from the cupboard , nothing fancy... Usual red comfy top and cream colored pants ,which ended just a inch below my knees. After tieing my hair as a messy bun... And... I'm done.

I came down from from my room.
Lucy and Aspen were watching movie.

"Woah... Girl.. Do you have plans? "
She asked after looking at me. Ofc.. She knows... I am a kind of girl who always like naps . So.. Sudden go-out is not my thing.

"Umm... Yeah... I'm just gonna meet Harry for some hang out " I said.

A smirk grew on her face...

"Mhm... Girl... Enjoy. "

I understood her meaning. But gestured as quotation with my hands...
"as only friends" I said...

And they both laughed.

And the door bell rang..

"I think its "your" Harry" they both said and started giggling again.

"Uh. ... You two... " I made a face. And they waved bye.

"have fun" Lucy said. I waved back.

I put on my white sneakers. And went to open the door....
