Unexpected

unexpected ( chapter five)

At the dining room... They were all seated and chatting around things.  As soon as we entered Aspen helped us by taking the juice bottle and a bowl.
We all filled our glasses with our drinks and raised a toast to " tonight's couple " . We were laughing and chatting.

Everyone seemed quite taken with their conversation.  Liam and Louis were quarreling on a stupid fact that "who is more powerful,  Superman or Batman?  " it so weird.  Niall was busy eating something with fun tricks.  Everyone applauded though.  Aspen and Lucy along with the other friends were playing truth or dare.  Zyan was there too.

I was lost in the music while pouring some more drink to my glass.  After watching everyone busy,  I saw the balcony was pretty empty so... I walked straight to there. I could see the city.  It was so beautiful.  Street lights were on,  whose light kissed the lonely path. Sky was dark but stars were dazzling like precious gems.  A light Swift breeze was moving on. It was cold but felt good to my skin. I rested my elbows on the railing and let the breeze touch me more. It was so soothing and silent there. ( all those things going round in my head... Everything was so messed up.  Sometimes I really  feel I can't hold it inside anymore but the fear of regretting after saying all aloud is much worse. Sometimes I even question myself " are these even problems??!!  " well I don't know....but the why do they hurt so much? Why I feel pain?  Ha...leave)  I stared at the furthest view almost begging myself to give me a rest from these thoughts inside me.  But..it kept coming. 

I took a sip from my glass.  Harry saw me standing there.  He made his way towards me.  He said " hey" but I was so lost by my uncontrolled thoughts that made me numb to any noise.

I recognized his presence after he cleared his throat. I turned my head towards him with..

" hi.. Umm sorry couldn't hear "
" oh it's all right "

I smiled.  Well.. Now,  I am used to it.covering my own emotions with just a smile.  It was pretty easy. No one understood.  No one cared  .

" so.. Seems like someone's very lost in thoughts? "  he asked with a joking smile.
" Nah..  Just accepting the beauty out there" I said pointing outside.. Then to the sky.
" hmmm.. It really is beautiful " he said looking at the direction.
" mind if I join? " he asked.  His voice was so soothing.  Comforting in a sense.
" sure " I said shaking my head .

He stood beside me.  We both stared at the sky for a few minutes. Sipping our drinks.  I didn't realise when a drop of water filled my eyes a bit. He noticed it may be.  He kept his hands on mine.

"Subhangi....." he called.  So soft voice.
" hmm? "
" are you all right? "
" yeah... I am fine " I said almost like a whisper. 
He rubbed his thumb on my hand.  He didn't ask any more questions furthermore about it.  I was really feeling comfortable to his touch and presence. 

I felt good.
