Unexpected

unexpected ( chapter six)

" so... You like nature,  don't you? " he asked in such a pleasant way.
" Ummm...yeah " I nodded .
He came behind me,  whispered in my left ear......
"come with me... I wanna show you something "
I looked at him, surprised. My eyes were asking him (huh?  Where?) and he closed his eye lids generously once and answered (trust me)

He took my hand and leaded the way,  I followed. We came to the dining room .
" just a moment " he moved towards Aspen and said something, probably asking something. Aspen nodded and handed him a small thingy like a key. He came back.
As it was quite loud there, and of course he didn't wanna scream so he mouthed " come on.. " with a hand gesture and luckily I was looking at him so he caught my eyes too. I did as he said.

We were climbing up the stairs when I asked  " rooftop? "
He smiled and nodded with assurance.
As we completed our stair journey,  there was a huge door infront of us.  He slid out the key from his pocket and unlocked the door and opened it  .it made a sqweeky sound. The roof was pretty big. Well there was a small light hanging at the side which gave a dim lighting. Although I couldn't see much things clearly at the sides but heard Harry say " over here... Subhangi "
I looked up and saw he was standing at the border . It was paved. I went towards him. He took my hand. I stood beside him.  He pointed to the outside with the other hands index finger...
" look at it... "
I glanced over that direction. The full view of our colony ( that area)  was visible. You can even figure out the line where the city met the sky. Little lights which were on the rooms of the houses seemed like fireflies twinkling between the trees.  The sky was so clear,  stars looked more crystalline.

Together it was all... Dark... And... Silent with wonders.

"it's so beautiful. .." I breathed out.
" I thought you would like it " he said.
" I really do like it.." " thank you"
" pleasure" he whispered.  Smiling very warmly.
He stood just beside me. My arms were touching his. But he didn't leave my hand.
" are they not gonna miss us downstairs? " I asked
"mmm..I guess not.  I told Aspen that I am taking you to rooftop for showing you a view "he said shaking his head once.
" oh okay. "
He stared at me for a second.  I was quite.
" I am glad that we met once again"
I smiled .
