I peel my eyes open and everything is blurry for a bit, I swipe the green blob over to answer the call and groan. "Hello?" I can hear someone heavily breathing on the other end, "Hello? If you don't answer I'm going to hang up." The person just kept breathing, it was like they'd been running, they tried to catch their breath and talk but I couldn't understand them. The only part of the continuous whimper I understood was "somebody help me, please!" I asked her where she was so I could call the police but she just kept heaving and crying, something bad was happening. "Who is this?" and then she hung up, I was a little frightened and decided to call my friend. She didn't answer, she must be having a great time with her boyfriend. Or she's asleep, jeez I forgot the time already, I'm so glad I have nothing to do tomorrow. I decided to not go back to sleep, not after that, my mind was racing about what could've happened to that poor person. I layed down and stared at the ceiling, why were people so cruel? With that I fell asleep, and had dreams, well nightmares about the girl on the phone.

I woke up around 10:30 and grabbed my phone off the nightstand right away so I could call my friend and see how her date went, "hello, this is Kiarra Finlayson, sorry I'm not here right now but I'll get back to you soon, leave a message after the beep!" *beep* Now I was freaking out a little bit, she said she'd be back today and after that call last night I really needed her to be back. I sat there and played games on my phone waiting for her call, she has to be okay, I wasn't putting down my phone till she was. I stayed there for almost half the day before I decided I should get my steps in, it was hot out again, maybe even hotter then before. I started to get tired and took a break in that alley way again going just a bit deeper this time, the sun was angled differently today pushing me further back. The light was just in front of me I decided to walk deeper until the ground got cold. I sat against the wall in the alley way, once again out of breath, I could barely stand or see. I heard a loud crash and rushed to get back up on my feet, I began to walk away as quick as I could. I looked back to see if something was actually behind me. A man appeared from the shadows and began to run, the end of the alley way got closer but so did he. I made it out on to the street in the Knick of time and started to run back to my apartment. I didn't stop running until a few blocks later, I sat down against a street light and heaved. I looked around me and didn't see anybody who looked sketchy. I sat there in shock thinking about where the man could be, then I started to bang my hand on my head, I led him to my house! I decided to take one last look around before heading inside my building. I hoped he didn't run that far, or wasn't in the building right now. I really didn't want to stay home but I had nowhere else to go. When I walked in Lexi was sitting there on guard as usual, "you'll protect me, right girl?" She barked as to say yes and followed me to the couch. The TV was still on and my computer layed beside me, I passed out watching YouTube. Later that night I dreamed about the girl again and what could've happened to her, the man was in my dream too, he was chasing her with a gun. He caught up to her and BAM! shot her right in the head. I woke up after that and heard footsteps, the shot did sound like it actually happened but I thought it was my head. I ducked down behind my couch and peeked over....
