Maggie
Myself, Ben and Matt are standing outside a door. Matt has shown us which room that they are in. I say, “I go first.” Ben says to me, “Maggie,” and points his head towards another door. I said, “Yeah.” I go into the room. Hal yells and retreats to a corner. “Don’t do this!” I say. Hal is moving from Tom to me. Hal moves away from the window. I say, “This isn’t you,”Hal moves the gun from Tom and I say, “You can beat this Hal!” Hal starts to crack. I say, “You’re stronger than Karen!” Hal leans down, and Tom tries to get him to give him the gun. Hal starts to move the gun away. Then Matt comes in, “Hal.” Hal turns the gun to Matt. Tom and I try to get the gun off of little Matt. Matt says, “You can do it Hal. You can fight it.” Hal yells and turns the gun to Tom, points the gun at him and lodes the clip. Tom says, “Give me the gun.” Hal laughs and pulls the gun off Tom to Matt’s head. “No you. You’re not going to hurt him. You’re not going to hurt your family.” Hal is inching closer to Matt. Tom says, “Hal.” Hal starts to break. I say, “Hal.” Tom says, “Give me the gun.” Hal turns the gun away from Matt. Tom says, “That’s it. Give me the gun.” The gun is pointed at the ground, Hal brings the gun up to his neck. Tom says, “No!” Hal say, “I’m sorry.” Tom is shaking his head, “Don’t!” I say trying to get the gun away from Hal, “Hal, baby don’t.” Tom says, “Hal.”
