Her smile grew devious with pleasure, as she strut to pull out my fears. Scarred out of my mind, hands sweaty unsteady breath, pulse beating in my ears, as I backed up with short strides. The tormenting shrieks of joy stretched around me as she kept approaching at a study pace. While one was covered, her gleaming yellow cat-like eye starred at my every moment, drawing out my despair. One pace forward, to my one pace back, her approach was shortlived to feel my back hitting something. My heart stopped.

My eyes widen, shaking with fear, only being able to think, what may be behind me. Behind my back could be anything. Her cackles pierce my ears as this cat girl approaches. Her cackle cut through me. Fear engulfed my conscience as to throw any other thought aside. Reluctantly, I turn to face the thing behind my back. Her eyes, still emitting mist of power stare into my eyes. Spencer. My lungs started hurting, a not so pleasured warmth spread through my chest and my neck. I start to cough, cough uncontrollably, fear resides. WHats going to happen? Cough. Are they a threat? My knees buckled, my fear grew stronger as my strength grew weak. One hand pressed on my chest, begging  for my body to stop, as my other held me off the floor. My arm was on the cold wet grass and my arms felt wobbly. It's ok. It said. The comfort said. The sound of that voice filled my chest with relief. In a tense situation, the voice soothed my lungs to stop hacking uncontrollably. Don't stop coughing. It told me, although my biological need to cough had eased, I did as said.

"Yikes Quinn, you didn't have to go psycho on the kid." A medium-low male voice uttered. I turned to the source, a guy stood leaning on the wall of the structure. He wore a sweater and jeans, with crossed arms. Across his face were two scars in the shape of an x over his nose. His eyes were pitch black and his hair transitioned from black to white. Aside from his unsettling features, I found myself smiling. A slight smile.

"Aww, but I was just teasing her! Your no fun Sparrow." She pouted, her features were so defined like anime I could have sworn she could be one.

I turn my attention back on the others, the one named Sparrow, sloaches off the wall and approached me, he kneeled down and offered his hand. I felt my cheeks grow hot as I place my hand on his. He helped me up and even though he was distant, I felt safe.

"Alright you guys, come on, stop being douchebags to our...guest..." Spencer said," and Quinn, you know better, get your inner cat under control." Spencer said.

"Your know fun either," Cat girl wined, then she walked up to me straightening out her clothes,"Hi, I'm Quinn! It'll nice to another girl around." She says, rolling her eyes and subtly suggests with her eyes Spencer. "Anyways I promise I won't pull any more schemes on you." She said, clearly full of bullsh*t.

"Yikes, even without using my powers, it's fishy."the guy beside me snarled.

"You wanna fight "big boy"!?" Quinn spat back.

"Try me." He insisted.

Quinn almost lunged at him if it weren't for Spencer, literally pulling her out of the air. She didn't really move much from her spot, but her eye of power brightened. Quinn smashed to the ground, nearly hissing at Spencer before wiping off the dirt from her shirt.

"You never let us fight!" She complained before she crossed her arms.

"That's because we all know who will win, at least until you smarten up."
Spencer replied

"Hey! I could beat you!"

"I can beat you before you can blink. Although you have the fastest reflexes, in a situation where I had to kill you, I'd win." Spencer shot. Quinn growled and Spencer stuck her tongue out.

"Ahem,"said the dude beside me,"youre gonna scare her away before she even meets everyone." He said.

"Id hoped she would already be gone," said a dude, a purple metallic colour of hair filled his face as his bangs Sat nearly above his eyes. Two curls surrounded the bottom of his jaw. His hair was so neat, I bet it took hours. What a fashionista. A scarf sat over his purple sweater. He raised his hand in a dismissive sort, with his palm covered in a purple birthmark. Like if he was wearing a glove with no fingers, that's what it looked like. "But since shes hear, guess I have to introduce myself, hi I'm Val, I hate people and I know my hand is messed up.". He gestured to another dude who had huge elf like ears and seemed to be uncomfortable and passive. "That's Kasey, he's quiet and awkward," he switches his point to a girl with a mask and curly light brown hair down. Her eyes screamed the sea as she lifted her mask to cover her nose."This is Dakota, I'll let you meet her yourself." He says, about to walk away, but stops dead in his tracks,"and I bet you'll get to know that prince charming over their." He said, before strutting away.

This dude beside me, Sparrow, grumbles and mumbles something under his breath.

I step away, but before I could walk off, Spencer appears behind me, whispering in my ear,"Why leave so soon, meet the group."
