It was spring.

"Jiminie, we have to go soon," Jungkook told his older with urgency and annoyance.

"We can't! I wanna stay with hyung! Why does he have to go so soon?" cried Jimin.

"And here I thought I was the younger of us both."

The bubblegum-haired boy began to pout softly and slowly, a thick tear ran down his round face, reaching his jawline, where it stopped.

That was when Yoongi came running in, having been trained in the art of protecting the puffed cheek boy from the youngest. The raven-haired wiped away the sadness from his poor dongsaeng's face.

At this, the younger furiously blushed, giving his face a rosy color which Yoongi adored, but Jungkook only scowled at the sight of his mess of a boyfriend.

"What the fuck did you do this time, Jungkook?" the eldest murmured, not taking his eyes off of the beautiful, now tearless boy stood in front of him.

Jimin whimpered at the forceful tone of his hyung. Hitting the onyx-haired boy's shoulder, he pouted in a more playful manner, silently wishing the older to stop using his "potty mouth" as Jimin called it.

"I only told him we had to go! He doesn't want to leave though. That's not my fault," Jungkook retorted.

"Y-Yoongi, it's okay. I was just-just sad. I'm f-f-fine now."

"You heard him Yoongi, now let go of my boyfriend."

It was only then that Yoongi realized how tightly he had been holding on to Jimin's chubby fingered hand.

After having been patted on his shoulder by the mochi, he had picked up the smaller and prettier hand with his own. He assumed that, during his conversation, he grasped the delicate hand tighter and tighter due to his increasing anger and lack of temper. However, the younger hadn't objected to the roughness of his hyung until Jungkook pointed it out.

Yoongi had a difficult time keeping his posture as he let go of the mochi and smiled ever so slightly. Jimin saw the struggle of the onyx-haired and noticed himself staring as the not-so-familiar gummy smile began to shine through the older's "tough" facade.

He reminded himself to ask his hyung a question later.

"Now let's go Jimin."

"O-okay... Goodbye hyung. Love you!"

Jimin had always made it a habit of his to tell Yoongi and Jungkook how much he loved them. Sometimes he would forget to remind his dongsaeng, but God forbid if he didn't tell Yoongi how much he cared. He knew what could happen if the boy felt unloved. He'd been there to see the damage first-hand.

And besides... There's nobody he loved more than his favorite hyung.

As they walked to the older's jeep, Jungkook couldn't stop himself from repeating the words that left his boyfriend's mouth. Directed to somebody else.

His hypocritical jealousy always got the best of him. This had been the case every time before now and this was no exception.

His rationale being that he missed when saying 'I love you' wasn't as difficult. He planned to change all that.

But first, he needed answers.

Upon reaching the rusty jeep that the younger always told Jimin he ought to sell or trash due to how 'old' it was, Jungkook sat down in the driver's seat.

"What do you think you're doing?" asked a confused Jimin. He liked driving his own car. He absolutely hated when anybody else drove it. Almost as much as he hated when they told him the car was ancient. He'd always say it was just rustic.

Most everybody ignored his bullshit responses and Jimin would get pissed that they kept on going on about the "dangers of a used car."

But he knew of one person who never tried to drive or insult his beloved automobile. However, that person wasn't here right now. Jungkook and Jimin had just left that boy as he packed on an adventure that the mochi did not want him to go on.

Jimin was snapped back to reality as an angry tone made an appearance, escaping Jungkook's tongue.

"For fuck's sake Jimin-ah, why do you always say that?"

"What do you mean Kookie?"

"You know what I mean."

"I don't. I really don't. I'm sorry Kookie, but can I make it up to you?" the older of the two said with an innocent smile. However, his eyes told a different story.

He winked followed by his beautiful eye-smile.

"Jimin. Stop it. Don't fuck with me. Why do you always tell him 'I love you'? If you love him so much, just ask Jaeun's permission for her boyfriend to blow you already," Jungkook's voice deceived his cruel words with a crack.

Jimin was frustrated that his subtle offer had been turned down so easily and his face left its happier state. "Ah Kook, I love you so much. You know I do. Jaeun and Yoongi are happy, just like us, right?"

Jungkook nodded as he had grown accustomed to do.

"Good, now please, don't use curse words so much."

"Are you kidding me?! I'm visibly pissed but you care about how much I curse? And what's it to you? Behind this innocent act, you know you're a sailor in bed."

Jimin let down his saddened expression to reveal a confused one. "But I---I don't--I never curse with you. I barely ever do. You know this."

It took the brunette a while to compose himself after being hit with confusion. Then he realized his mistake.

"Oh yeah, um, yeah sorry. Must've been something I watched."

At this, the older only shivered thinking of his boyfriend in a dirtier light. He then wondered when the taller boy had the time to watch... Maybe after classes? Oh no, that can't be. By then, he's being tutored by Taehyung-ah.

Jungkook then interrupted the pink-haired boy's thoughts."Baby, let's just forget about it. I don't care anymore. Alright? The picnic is going to get cold."

"Yeah, you're probably right."
