My entire reputation is based on my ability to be physically fast and smart, so you would think that when my best friend got hit by a car on the first day of summer vacation, I was easily capable of springing over to him and helping him out in any way I could. That's what I thought , too. But instead, I couldn't move. It's like I was paralyzed. Like the body I had always heavily relied on had decided to disprove its loyalty, when I needed it the most.
