"Wake up, Y/n."

I opened my eyes. Alex was staring at me, her golden-brown eyes piercing into my soul. "Ugg, what is it now?" I asked her.

"They found us," She growled. "That's the second time in two months. Either your tricks are lacking, Y/n or they're getting smarter." Isn't that just peachy?

"I'd go for the first option."

We turned. "Oh, would you look at that. If it isn't Iron Ass." I quipped. Stark growled. "Listen, Renegade, just make it easier for both of us. Turn yourself in, and we won't have any problems arresting you."

I grinned. "Alex. Get to the Impala. I have to recycle a tin can. Permanently." She nodded and ran off.

I smiled. "So, how about a new deal? How about, if you leave me alone, I won't kill you where you stand." The temperature dropped to about 30°. Frost spread across the walls, despite the warm summer outside.

"Okay," Iron Ass stuttered. "Barnes now would be a good time." I raised an eyebrow. A gust of wind came from behind me. I snarled and turned.

"Oh, bloody hell. Well, come on then! I'll fight all of you's if I have to!" I sneered. "The thing is, you don't have to." The Winter Soldier mumbled. I screamed and launched myself at the assassin.

He blocked me before I land a hit. He's fast, I thought. But I'm faster. I grabbed a knife and went for the small of his back. He dodged. He kicked. I ducked. The cycle seemed to go on forever.

Finally, I had an opening. He was pulling his punches. I swept him off his feet. I pinned him to the ground.

I grinned. "Welp, it's been fun having a toy to play with. But sadly, I can't afford to play around any longer," I smirked. The grip on my knife began to tighten. "Bye-bye, soldier!" I tried to plunge the knife into his heart.

But someone stopped me.

I snarled, turned the knife into the hand, and drove it. I heard a scream. Satisfied at the blood on my hands, I ran.

For every Avenger, there was a new trick up my sleeve. Black Widow, a few flips. Hawkeye, a frozen arrow. Thor, a taste of his own hammer. This went on and on until a sharp, but quick pain in my neck. I doubled over.

"Fucking... hell. D-dammit." I coughed up blood. My vision blurred.

The last thing I saw, was red, white, and blue.

Captain America.
