You had decided to check into a rather large motel about 10 minutes away from town. Considering that there were 2 girls and 5 boys, it was best you all got separate rooms. As Ashlyn and you got changed, you could hear the conversation of the boys in the room next door. And it was a conversation you'd rather not hear.

You could hear Steve ask the question of how your father died.

"You really shouldn't have asked that question." Dean murmured. You could hear Steve ask why. Dean sighed. "Don't tell Y/n I told you this, or she would kill me. When she was 6 years old, she came home from school crying. Her mom had asked what was wrong. Y/n lied and said she left her lunch box at school. So her mom calls the school and asked if Y/n left it there. The principal said that she saw Y/n leave with her lunch box. So, Y/n's mom asked her again."

You had to brace yourself against the bed frame. You knew what he was going to say next.

Dean continued. "Y/n then showed her mom the scars. The smallest was about 1 inch long. The largest was almost 1 foot. She then explained the experiments her father did to her behind her mother's back. The way he would electrocute her if she failed a test, how he beat her. It was too much for her to handle.

"So, when her dad came home, Y/n went upstairs to her room. She was a nervous wreck. Her mom took a large steak knife and hid behind the door. When her dad walked in, she drove the knife 20 times into her now-dead husband.

"And the thing was her boss, now Y/n's boss, gave her permission to. It was a military town, things weren't very strict, but one thing they didn't tolerate was child abuse."

You braced yourself on the bed, tears streaming down your face. Ashlyn came out of the bathroom and saw the condition you were in. She realized that you were having a panic attack.

"Oh god, you heard it too, didn't you." You didn't realize that it was Ashlyn, so when she touched you, you blacked out, too emerged in the pain of the memory...

"Now, now, Y/n. If you hold still, this will go a lot faster, I promise." Promise. He always used that word. He always used it to try and make her cooperate. To make Y/n be quiet, even though the lab was soundproof. The way he always tricked her into thinking that this would be the last test, but of course, he was a terrible liar, just like how he was a terrible father.

Y/n begged him to stop, the pain of the electrocution was almost too much. Her face had gone from the kind parents would want to pinch her cheeks, to one of absolute monstrosity.

Her face and hair were almost like smoke, her eyes were completely white and her teeth were sharper than the average person's. Her nails were like talons, long and black and constantly smoking just like her face. If a Xenomorph had impregnated a ball of smoke, the child would be Y/n.  "Please! Dad, stop it, PLEASE!" She screamed in pain, blacking out instantly...

"Y/n, Y/n wake up!" You slowly opened my eyes. Instead of your hotel room's ceiling, you were staring up at the Utah night sky.

Someone was shaking you awake. You looked towards your side to see Sam and Dean on your left, and Cas on your right. "H-hey Cas. Glad to see you too." You smirked.

He sighed. "For someone who just had a PTSD related panic attack, you are sarcastic as ever." You tried to sit up, only to have a massive headache. "Now why would I be sarcastic to a friend. That's just rude in my case." You tried to see if you could find Steve anywhere near here or the motel.

Speak of the devil, Steve came running from the direction of the hotel. "Y/n! What happened?" He asked you like he wasn't the reason why your PTSD kicked in.

You stood up angrily. "What happened? What happened? What happened is that I trusted that you would at least have some common decency to respect a person's privacy! I trusted you wouldn't ask about my dad. I trusted that you would be better than them!"

And with that, you stormed off into the wilds of Utah.
