Little did you know, there was a certain super soldier that followed you to the airport. As soon as you got off the plane, you could hear Steve calling you. "Y/n! Slow down!" He yelled.

You whirled around and glared at him, your hair getting in your face. "Y/n, what's going on? You left the compound looking like you've seen a ghost." He whispered.

You sighed. "Nosy, aren't you? Fine, I'll tell you. A friend of mine sent me a text. She said that one of my friend's parents dedicated a scholarship to a school here in her name. That's why I'm here, Rogers. It's been 28 years since her death and I am going to honor it." You stated coldly.

"So, you can either come with me and respect my wishes or go back to the compound, making Tony think I left for good. It's your choice, Rogers. Choose wisely."  You took that chance to walk away from him, only that chance was soon ruined when Steve grabbed your hand.

"Look, I know you don't trust me. But I'm coming with you."

You had all agreed to meet at the diner on Route 66 leading to Hurricane. You could already see Ashlyn's black Jeep along with Jason's blue Honda parked outside. You parked my own Jeep and walked to the diner, Steve following close behind.

You could already see that whatever they were talking about, Jason and Keith were completely engrossed with whatever Ashlyn was talking about. You smirked as you walked in.

"Ah come on, you guys started without me?" You laughed.

Ashlyn turned to you with a smile. "Well, if it isn't Y/n L/n. And looks like she got a boyfriend, too!" She said as she pointed to Steve, who was standing behind you.

You paled and stuttered, "O-oh, he's not my boyfriend. This is Steve. We work together." Out of the corner of your eye, you could see Steve blush.

"Wow, really? You guys look like you have some serious sexual tension going on here." Jason remarked. You almost spit out the coffee you had ordered.

"Jason Quill!" You screeched. Steve cleared his throat.

"Okay, Quill. I think that's enough." Keith remarked in his usual calm voice.

Ashlyn looked pleased with the results of her little experiment. "So, where's Marcy?" Ashlyn looked outside the window, where a couple of teenagers were messing around with her Jeep.

She flicked her hand and a gust of wind blew the youngsters away. "She's coming later with her brother Jack."

You were going to say something when the teenagers that were messing with the Jeep walked in. "Hey! Which one of you is the bitch with the Jeep?" You and Ashlyn looked at each other.

You smirked. "That would be me, asshole."

"Oh, I got a few words for you, you stupid little whor-." You then took the liberty of punching him in the jaw. Two of his friends came over and you smiled. The first one was easy. He kept his guard down and with a few well placed kicks and a punch to the groin was all it took.

The second one, who was a girl, looked at you with an innocent face. "You wouldn't hit a fellow lady, would you?" She purred.

You laughed. "The fist of justice is unisex, bitch." And You proceeded to kick her in the stomach, which sent her flying into a table.

You looked at Ashlyn, Jason, Keith, and Steve. "So, you were saying?" You panted. They all looked at you in surprise.

" Well," Ashlyn said, "Let's go to your mom's lab."
