Here it is the new chapter
ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!
It's been three days since her mate rejected her. And today was the day that she got on with her life.
She had told her parents everything, well everything apart from who he was. All they knew was that she had met her mate and he didn't want her because she was an Omega. To say that they were furious was an understatement. Her father demanded to know who he was so that he could hunt him down and tear him apart. Nobody hurt his little omega and got away with it. Her mother had held her close as she cried with her. But it was her siblings that showed just how much they knew her. You could see their feeling on the matter on their faces, but they all knew that she needed some time to grieve for the mate she will never know, and after a few minutes of their parents reactions they pulled them from the room.
But today was a new day, today she was getting back to her life. Her mother thought that it was too soon but Jamie had insisted that life moves on and so should she.
Sighing she opened the door and headed down the stairs. As soon as she entered the kitchen she saw Graham. A fleeting look of sympathy crossed his eyes before being replaced with the joy he felt upon seeing her up and about.
"Not cooking, I hope?" she joked.
He smiled, "No, I learnt my lesson last time. I'm glad your here actually, could you help me with the plates I'm running late today."
"Sure, no problem." As she grabbed a stack of plates from the side board she silently thanked him for not saying anything.
When she was putting the plates in their places she noticed that there was one more then usual, and said as much to Graham.
"Oh that's because the Alpha from the other day stayed over with Cindy last night. They seem to be getting along quite well. She's even been saying that he'a going to ask her to mate with him."
Jamie stiffened. Could that be true? Could he have rejected her because she was an Omega only to turn around and mate with another one? She didn't like the thoughts running through her mind.
Taking a deep breath she told herself that he wasn't her concern anymore. She would find someone who wanted her for who she was not for what rank she was.
A few minuets later she was sat at the table next to her parents dreading the moment when her ex-mate would come down. Not a second after she had that thought she saw him walk in with his arm draped over Cindy's shoulder. He was smiling and laughing with her, that was until he noticed that she was sitting at the table.
"It's good to see you up and about. I hope your feeling better today?" he asked her, curiosity clear in his voice.
"I am thank you." she said, but thought, 'as if you care!'
"Good I'm glad." he looked a if he meant it, but she didn't believe it for a moment.
There was a tense silence for a few moments before Cindy spoke up. "So why didn't your mate want you then? Does he have someone better then you?" to the untrained ear it would sound as if she was being concerned, but Jamie could detect the smugness in her voice.
It took everything in Jamie not to rip her away from him. She took a deep breath and said, "He rejected me because I'm an Omega. But I would rather that then have him reject me because he had someone like you, who thought that she was better then what she is. You think just because an Alpha is sleeping with you that you are somehow allowed to act above your station. I may have been Out of commission for a few days but from what I have heard you have had no excuse to not do your share of the work. You act as if you don't have duties to attend to, you act as if you arent an Onega, but news flash, YOU ARE! You have no right to act the way that you are, and then to go around and say that you are going to be asked to mate with an Alpha who isn't your mate, is just foolhardy!"
