Lexa
I look up from my book, when someone walks up to my desk. The boy standing in front of me looks about my age, with sandy blonde hair and sea green eyes. He's well-built and looks like he belongs on the schools football team. I'm aware that he's attractive, but I don't care. I'm also aware of everyone in the room staring at him.
I look back at my book before asking, "Can I help you?"

The second I saw her sitting in the back of the room, her hand resting against her cheek as she read from a book, she was the only person in the room I could see. She looked absolutely stunning, her caramel brown hair tumbling down her shoulders in waves.
My legs carried me over to her before I knew what was happening. She looked up at me, her grey eyes meeting mine. She glances at all the people I've forgotten were behind me, before once again meeting my eyes.
She looks back down at her book and asks, "Can I help you?" I try to clear my head. I never meant to walk over here, it just happened.
I open my mouth to say something when the teacher walks in. "Take your seats class." He tells us. I quickly take the seat next to her, before someone else gets the chance to sit there.
I watch her during class. She stares out the window as Mr. Hendrickson goes on and on about some book we have to read. She looks over at me, but instead of looking way I continue to stare.

The second the bell rings, I'm out of my seat and heading towards the door. I dodge students in the hall as I make my way to the cafeteria. I buy an apple, and make my way out the door to go sit outside. I sit down in the grass with my back against a tree, before taking my book out of my bag and open it to continue reading.
I realize I'm not going to get any reading done when I finish reading the same paragraph for the 13th time. That guy was staring at me all during class. I thought that he would look away when I looked at him, but he didn't, he continued to stare.
Just as I was thinking about him, he walks out the door and sits down at a picnic table with Alan, the captain of the football team. I slouch against the tree, and put my book up to cover my face. Thankfully he's not facing me, Allen is, but he hasn't seen me yet.

Alan brings me outside after we get our lunch. He's been showing me around school all day. "Do you know who that girl was?" I ask him. I lost her in the hall after English class.
"What girl?" He says stealing a french fry from off my tray of food.
I swat his hand away. "The girl from English class. The one with the grey eyes." I clarify.
"Oh." He wipes his hands on his jeans. "That was Lexa Michaels, she moved here about two months ago. She's super-hot obviously, but she keeps to herself. I don't think that I've ever seen her with another person here. Rumor has it that she moved here to live with her aunt after her family died in a car crash."
"That's terrible." I say. "Do you think that-" I stop when I noticed Alan looking behind me, his face turning red. I turn around and see Lexa sitting with her back up to a tree glaring at Alan.
Lexa
I shove my book into my bag and get up before walking past them. I glare at Alan all the way until I reach the door. I throw it open and go back into the cafeteria before practically running to the library. I hate that he was asking Alan about me, but I hate even more what Alan told him.
