Chapter Ten: Bedtime

Saphronia's POV:
I go into the bathroom to start my shower and see everything is set up for me. Why does he even have this stuff? Has someone wore this underwear before me?

I shake my head and turn on the water, waiting for the water to get warm enough for me to get in. I feel the water cascading over me and it feels so good. After I'm all clean, I decided to take my chances and sit in the shower. Everything starts coming back to me, yet I have no tears left to cry.
I just sit, numb to everything around me. I hear a light knock at the door. "Saph? You okay?" He asks me. "Yes sir." I answer over the water. "Dinner is almost reheated, you should come out soon okay?" "Yes sir."
I carefully get up and turn off the water, dry and get dressed. I open the door and look down the hallway. I really don't know where to go there's stairs on both sides of the hallway. I decide to sit on the floor and wait for him to come and get me. Hopefully if I pretend to be good he'll give me freedom, and I'll escape.
He starts to come up stairs and I sit the way he taught me, not moving. He looks at me confused and says "Good girl, release." I'm not sure what that means...
He looks at me. "Release." He says again. "Sir?" I ask him. " yes?" I look down away from him. "Um.... I don't know what release means..." He chuckles fondly. "Release means you can get up love." He pets my hair and I move my head away. He frowns and I apologize and sit still. He pats my head and tells me to Release again. I get up and he leads me downstairs, to a dining room.
He points to a chair and walks towards a door. I sit down in the chair he pointed to and he comes back in with a rolling tray and food. He places a plate in front of me, and moves to his side of the table.
I wait for him to sit down and he looks at me. "Is something wrong?" He asks me looking a bit worried. I shake my head no. "Saphronia," He says. "No, sir." I answer, remembering. "No.... I was actually going to say that... maybe we should drop the Sir thing except for when we are in certain situations? It's honestly.... kind of annoying." He says trying to lighten the mood. "But.... you're the one-" I start in. "I'm aware of that kitten. However, I haven't had that rule the way I tried it for you... Saph, you're the only girl I've paid for."
"As you wish." I answer quietly. After dinner, he leads me upstairs to the bedroom.
