kid: stein hakasei I have something to ask you.

stein: yes?

kid: you and red...you guys were together?

stein: were.

kid: than...why were you separated?

stein: I wouldn't say we were really a couple.We were merely just two people who needed each other.

kid: what did you mean?

stein: I am a mad person crave for knowledge ,wanting to dissect every single alive thing. I am curious. Red let me cut her for countless times and she hasn't died. And for red, she never needed to worry that she would hurt me.

kid: never?

stein: maybe she thought me as that strong. She really loved me and I... I just treated her as my object of interest. Such is our relationship.

kid: red knows about this?

stein: she does. It was our deal of keeping us together. She lets me cut her open and I let her stay beside me.We supressed each other.

kid: than why seperate?

stein: why are you interested? You don't trust red? That's mean.She may be a witch but her love is loyal.

kid: that's not it... blue brought that up and I'm just curious.

stein: the one who seperated us is shinigami sama.

kid: father...?

stein: he was afraid that both of us would get out of control together. We both understood and left each other peacefully. No rejections or anything.

kid: I thought she would've objected.

stein: to red...love may be important. But she doesn't want to hurt anybody. Her mama's wishes were to protect shibusen.She was keeping up to mama's wish.

Suddenly a sharp pain was felt . It wasn't physical but internally. It wasn't very painful but it was instant and it was obvious.

kid: red!!!

stein: you felt that too?!! She's in danger.

Kid and stein run down the streets where their instincts led them.After running a while... they stopped at a dead end.

*bomb!!!* The dead end blasted and a kishin egg monster came out.

'oops...wrong way.I thought its the river bank.Must be the other wall.'

The monster had red on its shoulder.

kid: red!!!! red!!!

Red did not reply. Her eyes were open but it seems she has no conscious of what's happening around her. Her eyes were blank.

Stein runs forward attempting to attack the monster. But... *piang* Stein's soul wavelength hit against the barrier that was just formed.

' Oops . I'm sorry.I just blocked your way.' a witch was standing on one of her barriers. The barrier floating on air.

stein: what do you want?

' her.And we've got it.' the witch crackled. She made another barrier underneath the monster allowing it to be on air.

'we'll meet again sometime.' the witch crackled again and flew away.

kid wanted to gave chase but was stopped  by stein.

stein: we need to tell shinigami sama about this . We'll still be able to find her.

What are these...I know these...they're...my memories...

Pictures flash past my face.

mama: red, you look nice in this.

red: but mama...its red.

mama: it fits your name perfectly.

red: but I want blue colour!!

mama: your sis takes blue. You take red okay? *smiles*

red:than...purple...?

mama: but I really like you in red.

red: okay than...

red: sometimes...I'm so jealous of papa and blue.

papa: why?

red: both of you are weapons.I...I am nothing.

papa: that's not true . You'll find something in you one day.

red: when?

papa: you just have to wait.

Stein was sitting on his wheelchair as usual and I was sleepy. So I slept on his bed. I begged him to sit beside me till I slept.

He gave in and sat beside me , leaning his back on the wall and smoking.

My eyes were closing...and I blabbared... 'stein...I love you.'

'I know.' he stroked my hair.It was comfortable and I took his hand over and slept on his palm as a pillow. He had to lie down to get a comfortable position. 

' do...you like me? Even if....a little...' I continued to blabber.

stein: no. You know that don't you?

My eyes  than  closed and my conscious was drifting off to sleep.

' addicted. Does that count?' he whispered.
