The grand hall filled
With so many differences
In race, clothing, ethnicity
And spirit-

The Arabs start sending dust in the air
Feet flying
Arms move like water
And spirits up high-

The British are different
Exuberant gowns fly and twirl
The gentlemen taking in images of women
Their waltz pattern fits simpler elegance-

The Natives break the waltz with fervor
Chanting and drums take over the hall
Color is never hiding
For the Natives know to dance-

The Africans how indulgent, showing off the Natives
So many patterns twirl around ebony bones
Man think themselves the executive
The women dance them away with jubilee-

The Chinese and their craftsmanship, shooing off the Africans
A dragon entwined it's way between dancers
So very lively with lanterns lighting the hall
Their moves so very quick and precise-

The Russians bang of gunfire brings more spirit
Skilled men take the floor, feet close to ground
The ballet dancers join their barbaric nature with equally skilled grace
Both dancers harmonize unknowingly-

The Spanish are wild, castanets click away the Russians
Guitar spills over the crowd and trumpet blare
The women dance every step as their last
The men return the favor-

The Japanese dim the lights, stealing all attention
Such clothed steps accompany Koto and Shamisen
Taiko drums urge the kagura dance into the heaven
With fan in hand, their identity is hidden-

Every
Race,
Clothing,
And ethnicity looks at both me and my partner-

Urging to dance with them,
Their spirits high
Their bodies ready to dance
Their minds want more happiness in numbers.

"Would you like a dance?"

"Two males can dance as partners?"

"Here, no one cares. They just want happiness and will wait for love to happen between two lovers."

"What are we waiting for?"

Only to dance-

Based on my love for different cultural music, and how that could tie to a loving dance.
