"I don't understand Bonnie. He just admitted that he had the same feelings that I had for him! so why does he not want to be with me?" Louis sobbed.

Bonnie was currently holding and comforting the small lad, his tears of hurt staining her shirt. As much as Bonnie wanted to hurt Liam for hurting Louis, the boy was her priority. Louis was not alone on this--she was confused as well towards Liam's reasoning and logic.

"I wish I could tell you LouLou, but even I'm unsure towards his thinking."

This made the small boy even more frustrated and sad much to Bonnie's dismay. 

Meanwhile, Liam was in the kitchen keeping an eye on the food and reflecting on the conversation he had with Bonnie. There was no doubt in his mind that he wanted Louis to be his--he never thought twice about that part. But because of the "family business" that has been passed down to him, there were major setbacks.

There was no way in hell he was going to get Louis or Bonnie involved with this. It was terrible enough that he dragged his two childhood best friends--so you can imagine how horrid he would feel if he got Louis and Bonnie involved. The two of them--well mostly Louis--reminding him of precious flowers that need to be cared for.

Giving him these flowers would suck their pure color and insert his toxic nutrients into each one.

He thought his reasoning would be legitimate and understandable, especially with his situation.

"You know if you keep making that face, it'll be stuck like that forever."

Liam jumped only to find Niall rolling his eyes and grabbing a bread roll from the table.

"What's got you looking so down?" The Irishman asked.

Liam let out a frustrated sigh before he began. "I told Bonnie how I felt about Louis. And I thought I was protecting the both of them from getting hurt because of the family business. Turns out I ended up hurting Louis and now Bonnie wants to kill me."

Niall nodded before going over to where Liam had his head in his hands. He knew that Liam wasn't the best at expressing his feelings, whether it was him and Harry or even his own family. So it was a surprising relief to find that the man does have feelings.

"Go to him," Niall said.

Liam lifted his head out of his hands, with a confusing expression towards his friend's sudden statement.

"Look, Liam, Harry and I know that you are the worst at expressing your emotions. But that small lad who is in his bedroom crying his eyes out is changing that--is changing you! He's the only one who can help you become the person that you used to be or want to be," he continued.

"But what about the family business--"

"Fuck the family business! But, you should tell him about it so he is aware of it. You don't have to drag him into his, but did like you did to me and Harry. Just briefly tell him about it and answer any questions he might have for you."

Just then, Bonnie walked through the kitchen to briefly check on the food. She then went into the living room and grab her jacket and lanyard. This has caused the curly headed frog to turn his attention to the woman who was slipping on her boots.

"Where are you going, Tiger?" Harry asked in a confused tone.

Bonnie walked up to Harry, standing rather close to the tall lad who caught his own breath at the sudden move. His eyes were moving from her lips to her cheeks to her beautiful brown eyes. Harry definitely didn't miss the sudden smirk on Bonnie's face.

"Where do you think I'm going Curly?" Bonnie asked in a mischievous voice.

The man had a few suggestive or flirtatious retorts towards her question, yet nothing was coming out his mouth. 

"Looks like this tiger caught your tongue," Bonnie smirked, "But if you must know, I'm heading to the store to get the ingredients to make my famous Smiling Snickerdoodles for my best friend."

With that, the fierce female grabbed her bag before walking out of the apartment.

Longer than she would have thought she was going to.
