And this was a complete mismatch with 15:00 left in the first period Spiro Goulakos scored to make it 1-0 Colgate. With 10:00 left in the first period Robbie Bourdon scored to make it 2-0 Colgate. With 5:00 left in the first period Evan Peterson scored to make it 3-0 Colgate heading to the second period. Evin and Marshall match zeros in the second period so it remains 3-0 Colgate. Alex Evin finished off the shutout and Colgate wins 3-0 to grab a 1-0 lead in the series.
