After Colgate sneaks by the RPI engineers they're in Lake Placid to play Clarkson in the ECAC hockey semifinals. With 16:00 left in the first period Austin Smith scored to make it 1-0 Colgate. With 12:00 left in the first period Sheldon Rempal scored to tie the game 1-1. With 8:00 left in the first period Corbin McPherson scored to make it 2-1 Colgate. With 4:00 left in the first period Grant Cooper scored to tie the game 2-2 heading to the second period. Evin and Kielly match zeros in the second period so it remains 2-2 heading to the third. More of the same out of Evin and Kielly so we remain tied 2-2 heading to overtime. With 4:30 left in overtime Mike Borkowski scored to win the game 3-2 and the title defense continues in the ECAC championship with a 3-2 win for the Raiders.
