Takashi's POV
Captain Beatrix said it will be my team who's going to do the job.
Our team? What is she thinking? If Zxena will go to that place, then...
I swallowed up the anxious feeling inside and make it looked like there's nothing bugging me.
She started to talk about the plan in invading that place...The place where the Titans always go and the place where Chief Shiru's daughter is..
Captain Beatrix showed us a map to each and every place and pointed out the nations as she explained the plan.
"Hmm..I see." -Shin
"Got it? It's this line. It shows that people who are living outside the walls are currently invading inside the walls, which are the titans who were once humans, who transformed into titans.." -Lady Beatrix
Lady Beatrix then faced Zxena.
"I bet you know one or two.. Annie is one of the soldiers who is actually a titan. And the Titan who nearly killed you." -Lady Beatrix
How could she say that in a stern face in front of Zxena?
Zxena on the other hand just continued to listen.
"Our enemies are the Soldiers who lived inside the walls...We have received word that those soldiers are currently looking for some information about this village. And some of them nearly came close in this place. Luckily Our men found out and slaughtered them." -Lady Beatrix
"Can't you just at least hold them as prisoners?" -Zxena (Petra)
"Prisoners? There's nothing we can get from those eyesores. Getting info from them is a waste of time. I even doubt that they will tell us some information." -Lady Beatrix
"You can force that out of them." -Zxena
"Force? In order to force them, we have to threaten their lives... Even if we did, I bet they will still not budge. So in the end, they'll just be killed. Same story." -Lady Beatrix
"And furthermore, no one can know about this village of ours. Not even a single soul of an outsider." -Chief Shiru
"Who needs those dimwits when we have Zxena..Right?" -Father (Fumito)
"Plus the girl who we are planning to get." -Lady Beatrix
"..." -Zxena
Sorry you got caught up on all of this, Zxen.
Lady Beatrix continued to speak "The Kurotoshiro Village shares the same borders from the other village. I doubt they even know.. " -Lady Beatrix
"If that's the case, we should have stepped in long ago." -Shin
"Hence, your mission is here...The Walls.. To crush one's enemy at the battlefront requires an immense amount of people, but we'll not go that far. We won't even let them notice our presence. So, You three, Takashi, Zxena and Shinha, you must not focus on having a sabotage... We will force ourselves to to work in small, selected teams to prevent some danger and notice..." -Lady Beatrix
"You have a point, but...You aren't coming with us?" -Shin
"I still have some matters to do here. And I know that the 3 of you can do it. I did not train you 3 for nothing. And, Zxena is with you. She could do the thinking, Takashi can find out a way to make the plan work, and you, Shin, to help them in every way." -Lady Beatrix
"So...Our mission is to infiltrate the wall's rear territory... And when we do, we'll get Sasha even without her noticing right?" -Zxena
"Well well..As expected from you, you can get it in no time." -Lady Beatrix
"But we need a diversion. To distract the enemy." -Zxena
"I will be the one to handle that. I got that planned, a long time ago...figuring that this might happen." -Me
"Way to go Leader!" -Shin
"And when you 3 will be able to get her, withdraw immediately." -Lady Beartrix
"Stick to the mission and don't attack head on. Is that understood? Especially you Shin. You sometimes attack carelessly." -Chief Shiru
"Yes Sir!" -Shinha/Me/Zxena
"You will be leaving Tomorrow. When the Sun rises, I want the 3 of you to leave. You three need to accomplish this mission. It's been awhile but, don't bring shame on your title." -Lady Beatrix
"Understood." -Shinha/Me/Zxena
The meeting ended and we directly prepared
"Zxena, will you be alright?" -Me
"Of course I will! This is a mission. I need to step my feelings aside. I need to get this head on without any doubt... And I hope it goes for you too." -Zxen
"Don't worry about me...I got no care about in that place...I don't even care on what will happen to that...I bet after the diversion, it will be that guy who will show up." -Me
"I know." -Zxen replied in a sad tone.
"But it doesn't matter anymore...Past is Past. I've moved on already.." -Zxena said with a smile.
"I hope so." -Me
After that I left Xena and went to my room.
Though she smiled, I know it was forced.
