Being back in old father's flat in Milton was indeed strange. It felt quite empty and long time forgotten. I hadn't been there many times actually, but I could still feel there was a person gone there. The team actually wanted me to stay in the hotel once again, but I refused and went there. Why?

One, no one had been there for a long time and it was my father's home for a long time.

Two, I didn't want to bother Daniel so much as I did with staying with him for the past 2 weeks or even more. Yeah, we got pretty close by now as we slept in one bed many times now and kissed, but everyone needed a bit of space for themselves.

Three, dad had the vinyl player and I bought in Milan bunch of vinyls and wanted to listen to them.

The day before when I had ended the factory work with Daniel and in general the factory work, Daniel and the rest of people flew to their homes and families. Daniel even asked me if I was going with him, but I said no. He also was supposed to be quite busy with the sponsor events in the next few days, so I doubted he cared much about that what I was doing or not as he was travelling a lot and would be back in home on Monday.

Anyways, today I was supposed to meet Amelie at cafe in London at 2PM. That meant I had to take a train to London approx 3 hours before, so I wouldn't be late. I didn't know what to wear exactly, so I decided to go for a fancier looking T-shirt and bunch of skinny jeans. I put my hair into a ponytail and wore simple trainers.

Hopefully when I got to the cafe, Amelie was taking the seat, so that meant I wasn't late. She noticed me walking into the cafe, smiled brightly and waved at me. I smiled in response too. When I got there, I took the seat and looked at her cause it had been a long time when I saw her the last time.

She didn't change too much.As far as I knew, she was working then as a journalist in London. She had a blonde dyed hair that was shoulder long. She was wearing similiar clothes to me - a T-shirt and jeans. She had bit of makeup on her face - a nice looking black wing with her eyeliner. She looked quite refreshed, but I saw some worry or stress in her eyes. My guess it was something related to the thing she wanted to talk about.

"Hey, Amelie, so what's up?" I asked her curious, once I took my seat and looked in the cafe's menu.

"Eh, yeah, Johnnie. The thing is with Patricia," I held my breath for a moment, feeling my heart beating heavily as I heard her name. "Was for a few days in Germany for holidays to meet mum, you know, and she told me bunch of things. Patricia with this guy disappeared and they are somewhere abroad."

I nodded my head, looking blindly at the table. I didn't really know what to think about it. Was I said? No. Was I surprised? Maybe a little. Did I care? Not really. I thought I finally got over it and her and being her daughter, so I was just numb to that all. Yeah, maybe sometimes I could start feeling slightly guilty about it, but it wasn't my fault at all - I didn't do anything bad to her, she was the one that did things bad.

"Well, I mean, that's good, I guess" I stuttered slightly, shrugging my arms. She looked at me a bit surprised, but nodded my head.

I was tired of talking about mother and the whole situation with her and getting back to that, so I decided to change to topic to brighten up the mood.

"So what about you? How the work going and Mark?" I asked her. Mark was her boyfriend, if I remembered correctly. She blushed slightly as she heard my question, so I raised my eyebrows and looked at her curiously.

"He proposed to me two days ago!" she almost yelled. I smiled brightly and stood up to give her a big hug.

"Congrats, Amelie! I'm so happy for you both, you look so good together." I said as I was hugging her.
