Finally I had landed in Nice and was trying to get out from the airport. The flight wasn't as bad as I thought it would be since I had the back full of cuts, but still it wasn't the most enjoyable one. I was feeling utterly drenched - physically and mentally and my back was hurting me. Pretty much all I wanted then was to just to go to sleep and forget about everything that happened.

The situation with Patricia was still a shock to me and my mind was completely all over the place. Saying that I was confused or lost was a big understatement. It all happened so fast and knowing that I had already had things in my mind bugging me, it just made an even bigger mess.

As I said before, I was slowly walking through the arrivals zone looking for Daniel. I really had no energy to walk anymore and I felt like I was gonna collapse in any second but I tried to move forwards. Hopefully I saw Daniel looking concerned in the near. I waved at him to make him notice me and he immediately spotted me and lunched in my way. I sighted in relief as I saw him walking to me and stopped.

Well, he didn't look happy at all when he saw me and how I looked, he looked quite concerned to say at last. He had his eyebrows knit together and little frown on his lips. He was wearing a black T-shirt and a pair of worn out jeans. You could see he wasn't doing too much in the day, just chilling most probably.

I dropped my luggage and immediately fell into his arms when I felt him embracing me. I stopped caring at all and needed a hug and somebody that I put my head on his chest since he was quite taller than me and sighed in relief. I could feel myself relaxing in his arms until he put his arms on my back. I twitched and hissed silently hoping he wouldn't notice that. Unfortunately he spotted that and stopped gripping on it that much, instead he started to pat my head.

"Want to get something to eat or just go to the apartment already?" Daniel asked me quietly, almost whispering.

"Apartment, please" I barely spoke. He nodded and sighed lightly. Next he put his arm onto my waist and took the luggage from me and started to walk slowly to the exit. I nodded as a thank you for his gesture and he smiled to me slightly.

We were slowly walking to the exit of the airport to the parking. It was quite late so there weren't a lot of people, but it was quite cool, so I shivered slightly. Hopefully as we were walking further, I could see a black Infinity parked on the parking place. I sighted in relief and was walking with Daniel in silence. No one of us really had anything to say, so the silence was quite comfortable and not strange. I was actually too tired to talk about anything and he probably understood that.

When we got to the car, Daniel unlocked the doors and opened them for me and helped me get into the seat. I somehow managed to crawl into the seat and hiss slightly in pain as my back touched the leather seat. I put on a brave face, as through the whole day, and smiled at him and softly thanked, fastened the seatbelts and then relaxed. He nodded his head and closed the door and put the luggage into the back of the car. After the moment he came back and sat in the driver's seat. He fastened his seatbelts and made sure mine were fastened too and started the engine. As he started to drive, I put my head against the glass and closed my eyes, soon drifting off to sleep.

Some nudging and voice put me off from the sleep. As I lazily opened up my eyes, I could see I was still in the car and I had Daniel in front of me. He was looking at me smiling slightly and nudging. Probably he wanted to wake me up cause we got to Monaco. I yawned and tried to stretch my bones that were hurting. I still felt incredibly tired but I knew soon I would go back to sleep, so I decided to be patient and not to whine about it.

"Hey, sorry for waking you up, but we've just gotten to Monaco and we're right in front of the block." Daniel said smiling slightly probably at my sleepiness. I nodded slightly and released myself from the seatbelts. Daniel did the same and hurried to open doors for me. What a gentleman.
