Chapter 4: At last I see the light

~Buckys P.O.V~

I woke up to complete silence in the tower, everyone was still out in their mission. I got showered and dressed, I saw my jacket sitting in the corner of my room and smiled while thinking about last night, after being lost in thought about Ellen for a while I decided to get some breakfast, well Lunch, I slept in quite late, I made my way to the kitchen to see Steve sitting there with a coffee in hand, he looked up at me and smiled.

"So how was it?" I knew what he was talking about straight away

"Amazing! she's one incredible gal Steve!" I said with a smile spread over face

"Really, how so?"

"Well, shes the kinda girl who looks down when you stare at her for too long and if you catch her looking she turns her head away, she always laughs at my jokes whether they're funny or not, sometimes her smile isn't always real, she doesn't say but I can tell and I wanna help her. Her hair isn't always styled perfectly but it always looks beautiful. She's the kinda gal who always wants to know about my day, even if nothing happened she's still interested, she's just incredible" the words spilled out of my mouth before I even had time to realise what I was saying, Steve was just standing there with a goofy smile on his face

"So did you ask her to be your girlfriend" I looked down at the ground before answering

"No"

"Bucky! why not? It's obvious she feels the same way, I can tell just from how you describe her"

"I just didn't want to ruin the night, anyway what time is it?"

"2"

"Already!" I say shocked, I know I slept in but I didn't think it was that late, I wonder what Ell is up to

~Ellens P.O.V~

I woke up pretty early this morning still super happy after my date with Bucky last night and decided to clean the apartment, so I threw on my favourite lazy clothes and played my Disney play list when 'when will my life begin' starts to play.
"Heh how ironic" I laugh as I start to clean the house from top to bottom singing along
"I'll play guitar and knit and cook and basically just wondering when will my life begin" I hum along to the rest of the song, that's really put me in the mood to watch tangled now I think to myself, "later" after a few hours I finished cleaning the apartment from top to bottom, it really needed it! Not that it was that big, three rooms, a bathroom, a kitchen and a living/sleeping area, but it does me. I spent the next two hours baking, just to pass the time and then finally decided to lay in bed, just as I put tangled on I got a text

"Hey doll, are you busy?"

"Nope just put a Disney movie on, you're more than welcome to join. You know the address"

About thirty minutes later there was a knock on the door,

"Come on in Buck!" Bucky walked in, taken back by how small it was, not to mention my bed in the living room

"You have a lot of hats" Oh yeah I forgot about the wall of hats

"I had to wear hats a lot as a kid, old habits die hard I guess" I chuckled then tapped the bed beside me

"Come join, it's my favourite Disney movie" Bucky took his jacket off, hung it up and then sat beside me on the bed

"Popcorn?" I laughed and threw a bit at his head
About an hour past and we were onto my favourite part, I looked over at Bucky and chuckled a bit, He got into the movie more than I thought he would, I sang along a little bit, not noticing Bucky turn to stare at me
