#8: He meets your family

Calum:

"Cal its not like they are going to bite you! They are very sweet! My grandpa' can be a pain in the ass, but they are all very humble" I say to my boyfriend Calum. We were currently in the front door of my grandparents' house, since it was Thanksgiving and Calum was meeting ALL of my family. I don't blame him for being a little nervous... ok VERY nervous. I opened the front door only to find all of my family.

"Y/N! How are you honey? Oh, and I guess this is Calum, right?" My aunt came to hug me and gave Calum a sweet smile.

"Yes aunt, Y/A/N" I say giving Calum's hand a light squeeze.

"Well nice to meet you Calum, I'm Y/N's aunt, but you can call me Y/A/N" Your aunt says giving Calum a welcoming hug.

The rest of the day consisted in Calum meeting all your family members from both of your parents' side and your grandpa' making his not-so-funny jokes that apparently Calum liked.

Luke:

"Are you sure they won't be mad?" Luke stopped you from opening the door. His face showed literal terror.

"Of course not. I told them you were coming" he nodded as you proceed to turn the door knob, but he stopped you again.

"Wait, what if they don't like me?"

"And why wouldn't they?" you asked with a bored expression on. He shrugged, but before he could say anything you opened the door to find you family gathered around a coffee table in your apartment's living room.

Your mother was lying in a couch, reading, your grandma' was drinking tea in her wheelchair next to her and your grandpa' was reading the newspaper in his favorite rocking chair. Since you came with your mother and grandparents from another country some months before there was no one else from your family to present your new best friend to.

As soon as you came inside they all sat down straight and looked up.

"Hey" you said shyly. "So, this is Luke, the guy I talked to you about-" you were cut off by your grandma'

"More like the boy you don't shut up about" you blushed and tried to ignore her.

"It's a pleasure to meet you-" started mom, but grandma' also cut her off.

"Come near, kid, let me check you out" Luke obeyed and grandma' literally checked him out, touching his hair, looking into his eyes and even tickling his tummy. "You're right, he's really handsome"

I had never said that about Luke, although I had thought about it. I didn't know what to say, although it wasn't necessary. Mom spoke.

"Y/N, why don't you show Luke your bedroom?"

I nodded "Right, follow me" but before we were halfway out of the living room grandpa' called

"Kid, I hope you treat her well and you don't break her heart"

"But we're just friends" Luke protested. Grandpa' shrugged.

"For now"

Michael:

My family were having a BBQ and they invited my boyfriend Michael, they can propperly meet him. Mike and I were entering the backyard hand in hand.

"Y/N! Long time no see!" Your big sister says hugging you.

"And you are Michael! Nice to meet you!" She says giving Michael a big hug.

"Well, well. well, look who we have here? I've been dying to meet you bro!" My twin brother said. I could tell that he scared Michael a little because of Michael's facial expression. It was hilarious!

"Nice to meet you to, Y/B/N" Michael said giving him a 'bro' hug.

For my surprise everything went pretty well with Mike meeting my parents and that. I can even tell that that Michael and my twin brother are going to be besties.

Ashton:

You heard the door bell ring and got up to answer the door. You were surprised to find your boyfriend Ashton standing in your porch with a puzzled expression on.

"Ashton! What are you doing here?"

"Well, I was coming to tell you to come to the mall with me, but I didn't knew you had a party going on" he said looking back at all the cars parked in front of your house.

"Oh, its not a party, its just our annual family reunion. Come in, you can meet everyone" you invited him.

"No, I... I couldn't. I'm not properly dressed and even if I were, I'm not even invited" he started to walk away but you pulled his hand.

"Well you are now, come on! They won't mind about your clothes, silly!"

Once inside you presented him to your aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents. They all seemed to like him and he looked pretty excited as well. He even helped your mom at the kitchen. Lets just say it was a very nice evening for all of you.
