#17: Surprise Birthday Party

Calum:

"SURPRISE!" People with colorful, paper birthday hats yelled as they popped up from different places in the dark house, startling me to the point where I almost suffer a heart attack.

I was still shocked and speechless when I saw my boyfriend, Calum come over to me with a rounded birthday cake topped with lit up candles in his hands.

"Happy birthday" he says with a smile that reached his ears.

"Oh my God, but I thought... You guys..." I stuttered, unable to make out what was happening, still

"You thought we had forgotten?" Luke, who walked from behind Calum helped me form a relevant sentence to which I nodded.

During the whole day I had been checking my phone for any missed calls or texts from anyone that wanted to congratulate me, but all I had was a text from Calum telling me to go to his house for some urgent situation. Not even him said "Happy Birthday" and now I know why.

"You know we would never forget that" finished Calum and I instinctively threw my arms around him.

"Thank you" I whispered with a smile of sincere happiness plastered in my face.

Ashton:

I woke to find only a note written in a crumpled piece of paper making me company between the big mess of bed sheets.

It did not explain where my boyfriend Ashton had gone or why; nor was it a happy birthday note, but it told me to get ready and not make breakfast; so I did.

Once I stood in front of the closet, I noticed a new dress with another note attached to it. He obviously wanted me to wear it; so I did.

Downstairs, everything seemed completely normal, for exception of a pink balloon attached to the door. There was another one in the yard, attached to the mailbox, and another one in a pole in the corner of the street.

The balloons led me to the park, where all of my questions were answered.

Ashton was sat behind a picnic table covered with breakfast food and a birthday cake. The whole scenario was surrounded in pink balloons.

"Surprise?" said Ashton smiling shyly.

"You're so cheesy" I laughed as I took a seat in front of me. "I love it."

Michael: (his P.O.V.)

I was woken up by a horn being blown directly into my ear. I instinctively stretched my arm to slap whoever used the damned toy to wake me up, but I was too slow and ended up swinging my arm in the air.

Laughs echoed through the small room and when I finally opened my eyes I noticed the 4 faces I was most familiar with using birthday hats and holding cheap, noisy, party toys

"Happy Birthday you lazy ass!" yelled Luke, his voice sounding muffled and distorted as he had a birthday hat over his mouth as a beak. I just groaned.

"Get up! We have cake and chocolate milk! It's time to get this party started!" yelled Ashton as he jumped up and down in my bed, hitting me various times. I groaned again, but was interrupted by someone putting a blue birthday hat on top of my head. It was my girlfriend, Y/N and she was now tugging on my arm.

"Get up or you won't have a birthday kiss" she said with a giggle that I had to give in to.

Luke:

"Will you come today?" the deep voice of my boyfriend Luke was heard from the other side of the phone that was resting between my ear and my shoulder. I could almost hear the pout in his lips.

" I don't know, I'm a bit busy" I said with a sly smile as I checked the birthday supplies in the store's racks.

"But its my birthday" he whined.

"So?" I asked, pretending that I didn't care.

"Never mind" he mumbled, disappointment obviously showing in his voice.

Although I felt a little bad for making him upset, I was eager to see his face when we surprise him at his house with a birthday party, so I walked to the cash register with all the supplies and a big smile in my face.

Oh my God, you guys, thank you so so so so so much for reading and voting on this even though we completely failed to you all. We both know this preferences are supposed to be daily, but we already started school and it's been a busy week and sometimes we also lack creativity and get blocked, but we want to thank @livvy6702 for requesting this. OUR FIRST REQUEST OMG! (I get excited easily lol) sorry for the delay and for making them so lame but, if you hadn't asked for this preference we probably would't have uploaded anything for a bit more, so yeah, you go girl!

So, we will try to update more often, even though it's gonna be a bit difficult with school and such, but you can expect at least a weekly preference if everything turns out as planned.
