"I'm just passing through," I don't mean to be any trouble. I cautiously say as I take in the merman's good looks.

Okay I need to chill with calling the enemy good looking. The rouge had fiery red hair with sapphire colored eyes. And his fin was a calming light blue color. Calming my fin. He'd either throw me to his sharks or make me a slave. Both sounded bad.

"Hey I don't mean any harm," he states as he holds up his hands in defense, "yet anyways."

Looking around I see that there is a lot of open ocean to swim around. I could probably make it if a seam hard but I was tired with all the events.

"Now now. Let's not be hasty. We wouldn't want anything to happen to your pretty little face or your soul mate," he states and I furrow my brows in confusion. How did he know I had found my mate?

"Please little fish, you're glowing with mate vibes," he says with a roll of the eyes, "oh you must have just found lover. Did the merman reject you and you've come to run away. No no to cliche," he furrowed his brows and put his hands on his chin in thinking matter," ah that's it, you want to be with your boyfriend instead of you're soul mate. Don't worry sweetie the boyfriend will be nothing soon enough," he states as he smirks and laughs.

I scowl in disgust at his horrendous thoughts. They were all wrong but I wasn't going to tel him who my true mate is. That would be stupid.

"Well doesn't matter anymore. I'm going to take you and he'll never see you again," he snarls as he launches to grab me.

My eyes widen and I quickly flip around like a fish and manage to hit him with my tail. He groans in pain and with this I swim off. I needed to get to the town.

"Now now little fish you better get back here or you won't see another day. You know I was looking forward to your company," I hear him snarl behind me and it makes me swim faster.

I needed to make it to the boundaries so the guards could smell him and come save me. I could see the town approaching and I strive to swim faster but with the events of today I was to weak and slow. As I nearly passed the boundary I felt his hand grab my fin and pull me back.

With the sudden force I fling backwards towards the ground and hit my back with a thud. My vision started to give out as the rouge looked at me with a smirk.

"Now now little fish sleep tight," he said and I shivered in disgust.

"Mom, Murial was looking weird today," I said to my mom as we ate shrimp.

"Serenity! Do not call your friend weird! That is highly rude of you," she scolded me as my father looked at me in disapproval.

"No mom not like that," I rolls my eyes and I see my mom huff in annoyance, "when we transformed she was all glowing and looking beautiful," I state as I eat another shrimp.

My moms eyes widen as she look at my dad with shock. They look at each other as if they were speaking to each other with their minds. I put down my fork and look at them with confusion.

"Mom what is it? She said it was new conditioner but I knew she was lying. Oh my sea goddess is she pregnant?" I ask with worry. My mom looks at me with a confused and shocked look.

"No she is not pregnant," she scoffs as my stupidity, "she found her soul mate." Her what! "You know it's about time! She 21 for crying out loud! You know Serenity I want grandchildren soon. You need to go out and find your soul mate soon," my mom states as she looks at me but I was too into my thoughts to care. She found her soul mate and didn't tell me!

"Why did..." I was interrupted by a guard rushing in.

"Your majesty, faint smell of rouge and Murial have been spotted by the edge of the boundary!" He shouts and all of us look in shock.
