My parents keep calling, again and again I hear my phone ring and ping with my messages hurling insults and then apology's and more insults. I don't think they know where I am or who I'm with. I decide to pick up my phone and reply:
Jack: yes what do you want
Dad: COME HOME RIGHT NOW!!
Jack: no I'm free I'm living my own life I don't want you apart if it
Dad: HIW COULD YOU you are destroying this family you are causing your mother so much pain you will not leave this roof until you learn how to be a proper human
Jack: a proper human? You mean an extremest? I'm an atheist dad I don't want to be with you and Mum anymore ALSO IM GAY
Dad: how could you disobey me and god. You will perish in hell no one can save you from that sin.
Jack: me and my boyfriend have been dating for a wile now why do you think that my happiness is a sin
Dad is blocked
Mum: jack you can find happiness in a girl and have a family with that girl and fulfil your life without that sin.
Jack: my my my sweet lies I'm not interested in singe Mum
Mum: I don't know where you got this in gay thing from son but I will find the person who made you commit   such a sin and I will place a restraining order on him.
Jack: I'm 18 you no longer have power over my actions
Mum is blocked
I smile and place my phone down as mark stepped out the shower. "Who were you texting" he asks drying his hair with a towel "my parent I told them they have no power over me and  I blocked them" I smiled as he smiled faintly back. I felt two strong hands grasp my cheek as a kiss planted on my head I smiled with joy and love.
