chapter 8

Hey guys sorry for not updating last week. It was hard writing a chapter in Nate's POV cause his mind is like a god and a god's mind is hard to get into. So anyways here is the chapter. I hope ye enjoy.

*Nate’s POV*

I woke up to Monica putting out the fire. While looking around the area I noticed that we are in some type of pod looking thing.

“Hey Monica do you know where we are?” I asked her but ended up scaring her

“GAHHH!!!” Monica jumped up and accidentally hitting her head on the roof of the pod.

“Sorry Monica I didn’t mean to scare you that bad.”

"Its fine. I believe that we are in some kind of alien universe. Hey Nate can you go find the supplies that we need and in the meantime I'll try to find the others."

"Ok"

"Oh and also before I forget meet back here before night falls. If I find anyone I'm gonna come and meet you here. Good luck and be careful it's very dangerous out there."

"Ok 'mom'" She started laughing and so did I.

We both left the pod and went to our separate ways.

As I was collecting some supplies I spotted someone in a distance. I swam closer to them. I realized that it was Jaden.

“Hey Jaden.”

“Oh hey Nate.”

“You’re looking for supplies too?”

“Yeah, so who are you sharing a pod with?”

“Steph and you?”

”Monica, I guess I can see how motherly she can be.” I laughed at my comment.

“Yea she’s like that.” She laughs along with me.

*A few days later*

‘I need to get back to the pod hopefully they haven’t left yet.’

I had just gotten the last thing I need to make the last seamoth my group needs so that we can all go to the island.

In the pod I spotted the girls getting the supplies needed.

After building the last seamoth we headed towards the island.

*a few minutes later*

Jaden and I found some type of tablet looking thing while walking around the island.

“It looks like it can be used for something. It's best if we keep it with us just in case.” Jaden nodded in agreement.

While looking around an idea popped into my head and I decided to tell Monica about it.

I walked up to her and said. “Hey Monica is it possible to build a helmet with a communication system built in?”

“That's a good idea Nate, we should get started on that right away!!” At this time she looked really excited.

I got the supplies needed and started working on it with her. After building two helmets we decided to test them out. We put them on and it turned on. Luckily, we made them waterproof and with a long lasting power source. I walked away from her.

“Monica can you hear me?”

“Loud and clear Nate.”

“It worked!!! now let's make the others one too.”

I headed back to her and grabbed some supplies on my way over. After building eight more helmets, we gave Stephanie and Jaden one each. The other six are for the others when we see them. After that, we split into our predetermined groups. Jaden and I were looking for usable items and renewable sources of food.

After our encounter with jack and ethan monica gave then the helmets we made. I taught them how to use then until they finally figured it out. we started to head over to their base.
