A Thought on Unrequited Love

One of the worst things in love is falling in love... alone.

A meter seems a mile, and a minute seems like an hour.

Being able to see that one person at such a short distance is the farthest you'll ever feel to someone.

You like them, you want them, you yearn for them, but you'll never get to hold them.

A sad reality that the measured distance cannot compare to the distance of the heart.

The reality that no matter how close you may seem, your hearts will never meet.

Falling in love with someone who does not feel the same does not mean the end of your world. You never have to give your self up to someone who won't love you in return.

You can continue to love, to admire, to cherish, but always leave a space for the right person to enter.

The right person who won't let you love alone, the person who won't let you love anyone else for the love he gives is more than you deserve. 

We sometimes change ourselves for them.

To be noticed, hoping that for one time, they'd just give that one glance you think they'll never give.

It's not always wrong. Whether we admit or not, we do that.

We change because we want to, but we never have to do it for them. Do it for yourself, and everything else will follow.

If that change brings that person to you, then it was good. But if that person does not, don't fret over. Someone out there will love that change.

Then, at some point in time, that person will become some one else's.

Along the way, the same as you have always admired him, he has also admired someone else.  

Be happy, for even though you never got the chance to have him and be happy, he is happy with someone else but you.

Never hold grudges and never curse, for true love doesn't seek hatred, but wishes happiness, even if not for your own.

Be gentle to yourself.

There is nothing wrong with you.

Love just didn't choose to rest in your heart.

An unrequited love is painful, sometimes deadly, but it will heal again.

Just remember never to give your whole heart to someone unsure, for unconsciously. pieces by pieces, they break then shatter your heart.

Wait, for you mustn't hurry for love. It will be with you, at the right time, at the right moment, with the perfect person.
