"Y/N!" You heard Namjoon's voice calling you from behind.
You brought the back of your hand to wipe away the tears and turned around.
Namjoon was running after you. And not gonna lie, you were kinda happy that he did. Until-
"What the fuck is wrong with you?" He shouted, stopping in front of you and catching his breath. "Go back and apologise to Jisoo."
"What?" You breathed out, feeling your chest tightening in pain again.
"You were rude and now she's upset." Was he too blind to see you were upset too?
"Fuck off Joonie," you spat at him. "I'm not apologising to anyone. You go back and dab her fucking tears if you like, I'm leaving."
You turned around to walk away again when you felt him pulling your arm back.
"WHAT'S THE MATTER WITH YOU?!" He screamed in your face. "We were all having a good time, Jisoo was only trying to help you out! You didn't have to lash out on her like that!"
"I don't need her help, thank you very much!" Your cheeks were becoming hotter from the fire burning in the pit of your stomach. "If she really wants to help, tell her to donate to charity because I ain't one! Just because I work minimum wage, it doesn't mean I need you rich people's sympathy!"
"What the hell are you on about?" Namjoon stared at you in utter disbelief, like you had completely gone off the radar.
"Oh, of course," you mockingly slapped your forehead as if dramatically remembering something, "People the likes of you and her don't know what's real hard work. You don't have to deal with drunk customers at night, you don't have to carry boxes and hurt your million dollar insured back, you don't ever have to go to sleep without needing to count the pennies in your pocket!"
Namjoon stared at you stunned with his mouth gaping open.
"Are you on the blob?" He asked after a moment of silence.
The fuck?
"Piss off!" You shoved your middle finger in his face, shook your head and turned to leave again.
"Oh yeah, run away!" Namjoon taunted behind you. "Thanks for ruining everyone's night, princess!"
"FUCK OFF, YOU DIMPLE PRICK!" You screamed over your shoulder, walking away from him.
The next day, Taehyung literally dragged you by the hair to Namjoon's house to apologise.
Thrashing and kicking about like a little child, he stuffed you into his car and drove in complete silence. Even Tae was mad. And you weren't even sure why.
"I swear if you don't stop the car now, Tae, I'll jump out!"
"Go on, then."
Ugh.
Stopping outside Namjoon's house, or mansion rather, Taehyung turned his body round to face you and glared at you.
"Stop acting like a brat, will you?" He said. "After you left the restaurant yesterday, Jisoo was crying her eyes out. She was apologising to me saying she ruined such a happy night for everyone and how she didn't mean to trigger you off."
"I don't care." You huffed, crossing your arms over your chest.
"You do, though. You're jealous and you're in denial."
You froze hearing those words said to you. For some reason, it felt like someone slapped you across the face when it was put out to you like that.
"Your Joonie said they'll be going on their honeymoon tomorrow," Tae said quietly, "so... this is your last chance to speak to him before they're gone for two months."
So this was why Taehyung really brought you here? So you and Namjoon could work things out before he leaves?
You looked at Tae softly, the guilt building up inside you again. Honestly, you didn't deserve Taehyung. You were so engrossed in your own self that you just noticed the hurt in his eyes now. You never, for once, stood in his shoes and considered how he must've felt. Last night was meant to be your date with him. Just you and him. Then you walked off in the restaurant and left him there to deal with the mess you caused. And now he brought you here cause he knew deep down you would like to see Joonie before he goes away for a long time?
Oh God, you're not only selfish, you're blind too.
Drawing out a long sigh, you leaned over to Tae and planted a small kiss on his cheek.
"I'm sorry, Tae..." you whispered. "How about we go on another date tonight?"
"Leave it." He said, disappointment etched all over his face. "You should say goodbye to him before he goes."
Pressing your lips tightly together in a thin line, you felt the jealousy bubbling up to a boil inside you again.
They're going on their honeymoon? All sweet and cuddly and mochi mochi?
You'd be damned to let that happen.
"Can you take me to the supermarket?" You asked Taehyung, who furrowed his eyebrows at you in confusion.
"You want me to apologise, right? I can't go empty handed. I wanna make them kimchi."
Hiding your smirk away from him, your psychotic mind wandered to some sick plan to sabotage their honeymoon.
