"Priya you can't do this snap out of it he's just a stranger, remember that!" She said to herself, so she cleared her throat.
Ram then came out of his thoughts. There was an awkward silence till priya broke it.
"Can I get a call" she asked "Yeah sure" he said trying to remain calm as if wasn't staring at her a while ago.
"It's not my business, but if I may ask who are you calling?" he said.
"Well I've been on the road way too long so my parents are probably worried so I might as well call them" she explained "Oh" he answered.
So she dialed the number

Ringgg, Ringgg, Ringgg
"That must be priya" said shipra. She answered the call "Priya?"
"Yes mom it's me."she said
"Are you OK? Where are you? Do you know how worried I was? I know that I hurt you but that does not give you the right to go out without informing us about your where beings!"she said in one breath. "OK mom take a deep breath in and let it out, I'm fine so there is no reason to worry and plus I'm with a FRIEND."
"A friend? Who?"said shipra.
"You dont know him" she said.
"OK, come home save, be careful" she said.
"Yes mom bye." She hang up the phone.
"So were friends" said Ram
"I guess" said priya
"Why so?" He said
"Well for starters, you save my life, gave me clothes to wear and we're on a first name basis." she said
"Make sense" he said.
"So friends" she said forwarding a handshake."I know its childish but let's shake on it."
He hesitated at first then ask himself what could possibly go wrong? So he took a decision "Friends" he said shaking her hand.
In that one handshake they sense something different between them but ignore it, just not trusting the feeling of something changing.
"So I think it time for me to carry you home, and the rain seized so let's go home." he said. "I mean our, my... no your home" he stuttered.
"I know what you mean but I don't think it's necessary to take me home I'll take a taxi you've done enough."
"We're friends right" she nodded yes. "Ok that means I can help my FRIEND by carrying her home, so come" he said moving towards the door."Hurry Up!"he shouted.
"Fine I'm coming" she said.
