A year passed by. Ivy was now in her second year of high school. Jotaro was in his third and final year.

Over summer, Ivy picked up on some new habits Jotaro has gotten. She doesn't know if it's a good thing, though.

For one, she caught her big brother smoking a pack of cigarettes. He then started to have a questionable fashion sense. But worst of all, he started cussing her and her mother out.

"Jojo, can you grab some mint leaves from the garden, sweetie?" Holly would ask.

"Get them yourself, woman." Jotaro would huff.

"I'll get them mom." Ivy got out of her seat and stomped her way out of the house, slamming the wooden door behind her.

"Watch what the hell you're doing." Jotaro called out, only to be replied by the sound of Ivy blowing a raspberry.

Even though Holly hated the way her son was acting, she knew that Jotaro was still the good boy he was. Well, she hoped so. But over time, what she noticed was that with Jojo's new attitude made her daughter and him grow apart.

Ivy came back in with a hand full of mint leaves. She carefully shut the door behind her and flipped her hair behind her shoulders. "Here you go, mom." Ivy then turned to her older brother. "See Jotaro? It's not that hard to get a couple leaves."

"Shut up, you bitch." Jotaro glared.

"Language!" Holly pointed.

"I can say whatever the fuck I want."

"Why are you so mean to mom?! You were never like this!" Ivy slammed her fist onto the kitchen counter.

"Some things just have to be said and done." Jotaro tightened his fists.

"Idiot! Get over here-!" Ivy tried clawing at her brother, only to be held back by her mother.

"Ivy, sweetie... fighting your brother will do no good." Holly calms her down.

"Jotaro is stupid... I want my brother back, not an asshole who only thinks about himself!"

"Good fucking grief." Jotaro spat, leaving the kitchen and slamming the sliding door on his way out.
