Portals to the Supernaturals

"Hey April," I look down, "I feel like I've met you somewhere before."

"Really?" she smiles. "So I wasn't wrong then. That makes me feel a lot better."

"Um, April?" I look at her face.

"We met long ago in Summer Camp. I'm glad you remembered. That's why you have scars on your arm and your body. We got lost and you tried to protect us from wolves, or what seemed like wolves anyway," she replies.

"OH! That one summer 4 years ago?! I remember now! Those weren't wolves by the way..." I turn rubbing my head. "I didn't tell you then, but I want to tell you guys now. I'm not human. Or well, full human anyways. And those "wolves" April, they were demons or something. They had horns and spikes."

"I know you're not human, I still appreciate what you did. You saved me, that's why I wanted to protect you too." April smiles.

"I still don't know what I am or what I am capable of. I'm afraid." I replied.

"You were amazing then and you are amazing now," she smiles at me again.

The bell rings, but the noise of the students cancel and fade it out as we are pretty far from the speakers. "I think the bell has rung, I'll see you guys after school." I slowly move out. "See you guys later!" I wave.

"Bye bye, see you later Ry!" Jessie waves.

I said for her not to call me that. I walk away and am greeted by one of my classmates, Leo. We talk for a bit and he waited a bit for his friends. I don't understand why he waited when we go to the same class. Next class after lunch is chemistry, then art. I walk to the chemistry building when I hear something off. It didn't quite sound right and it threw me off.

I heard another suction and a pop. It was the same from when Lily sucked me in. I look around and see nothing. I stop right outside the building and everything stops. Everybody starts to move slowly and I turn my head. I see a student remove his hood. It's ragged, but he takes his bag off and he slowly holds his hands out. I turn my body and start to take off. 

Out of his hands, a black aura is exerted and thrown in front of him. He turns and stares at me as he enters the portal. He starts to speak while I'm running to him. I couldn't hear, but I worded his mouth and I read: "We'll meet again, but next time it's just gonna be me and you." He puts his legs in the portal and smirks. I continue pushing students aside and running to him.

I grab onto his cloak and pulled half his body out. He pushes me away and the portal starts to lift and close. He pulls out Jessie's head. She seems to be unconscious. He pulls my head towards him and he whispers to my ear. "Cooperate and I might just let her live. I've got another girl here too. Now leave, if you come looking for me I won't hesitate to kill either of you." And closes the portal.

I take a step back and quiver with fear. I turn around to see that everybody is turned to normal and starts walking normally. I pause in the middle. Someone from my class stops and tries to snap me out of it. "Ryan! Ryan hurry or you'll be late! ... Ryan? Ryan!? Are you ok!? It's me Allysa! Ryan?! Snap out of it! You're scaring me!" she shouts.

I stare at my shaking hands. I turn them around, "I've never quivered like this before. Wh-what's wrong with me?"

"Yo! Ryan! You good?! You don't seem so well. Want me to grab the nurse?" another classmate asks.

Tears start to fall down my face. Soon enough blood starts to fall from my arms. He put a curse on me as he touched my head. My scars started to open slowly. I put my hands on my face and try to wipe my tears away as blood drips down my arms. I fall to the floor, I kneel down, and soon enough I dropped my arms and fell. I could hear people panic and cry out. But it's useless. No matter how hard you try, you can't help. You'll just get in the way.
